The Flagstaff chalet is a unique, large, comfortable, A-frame in the pines, 10 minutes from downtown Flagstaff. 2600 sq ft family home with dozens of customized built-ins and special touches. Relax in the sunshine on the deck, toast your toes in front of the wood-burning fireplace, soak in the private hot tub, or curl up and read in one of the private sunny corners.
Natural pine and cedar throughout. Forest views, with occasional visiting elk. Sleeping loft, greenhouse, large game room with heated concrete floor and pool table. Cable and wi-fi throughout the house. Tiled bathroom downstairs has a Roman tub. Fenced yard and doggie doors make this an ideal vacation spot if you want to bring your dog.
Private, yet convenient. Two minutes from Coconino National Forest and miles of great mountain biking and hiking. Thirty-five minutes to Snowbowl Ski Area, 45 minutes to Sedona, 45 minutes to the Anasazi ruins in Wupatki National Monument, 1.5 hours to the Grand Canyon.

Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff
The Flagstaff Chalet is the house we lived in for 12 years. We raised two sons here and some adopted children. This is a great house for kids.
We had many large parties with lots of guests: Thanksgivings and Christmases were always here. Our wedding dinner was here. Our friends had a wonderful time staying at our place. When we left Flagstaff, we decided to share our happy home with others, and furnished it with the idea of the perfect getaway. We love the clean air and peaceful environs of Flagstaff, and still vacation here ourselves.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Many GREEN features including a solar hot water system and an indoor greenhouse.
Our favorite benefit of the chalet is the surrounding Coconino National Forest, which offers hundreds and hundreds of miles of forest roads and trails. We take our dogs for walks in the forest several times a week. In addition to the abundant natural beauty of the high country, we appreciate the crystal clear air.
Our outdoor hot tub is wonderful at night, under the stars. We love the warm, rustic character of our classic chalet, which feels like "home" from the minute you step in the door.

We celebrated a birthday here with 7 adults and 2 small children. We had a blast and made use of all the amenities -- from the fully equipped kitchen to the jacuzzi to the large game room. The place was cozy enough to feel welcoming but spacious enough that we all had some privacy. The house is close enough to Flag that we were able to get up to Snowbowl and play around in town without much of a drive, but far enough away to feel like a retreat. We also loved that it was pet-friendly and the owners were super-helpful. We will definitely recommend the house to our friends and we hope to come back sometime.

Enjoyed our family vacation to Northern Arizona and this was the perfect home away from home. Close to the city and nearby attractions with the feel of a private retreat. Just what we needed.

"The Big Chill: Flagstaff Style" Had an amazing weekend at the Chalet. Hopefully it won't be our last. We celebrated two birthdays while we were here! The Chalet was perfect accommodations for 3 couples to enjoy the intimacy of meals together, laughs by the fireplace, and an extremely competitive foozball tournament. Also the privacy of 3 comfortable bedrooms made us all feel at home from the moment we walked in the door.

Two amazing days at the Grand Canyon, a long yet beautiful drive to the Four Corners, Navajo National Monument, and the Painted Desert, a day in downtown Flagstaff, and 3 absolutely gorgeous days in Sedona. Arizona is such a beautiful state, and we were lucky to experience it together. As for the house/chalet, it was just perfect for our trip. We all settled in nicely. The kids just loved the game room! We enjoyed the jacuzzi, gas grill, fireplace, comfy beds, computer, and the games and books.

We had a great time in this beautiful chalet. Fun was had by all. Great family games in the play/gameroom and relaxing with a cold drink in the front room. We found great sledding. All was AMAZING!
