Our unit has amazing VIEWS OF THE OCEAN AND THE WEST MAUI MOUNTAINS from our lanai or if you choose, you can just look through the sliding glass doors in the living and bed room. We are VERY PROUD of our unit. We keep it beautiful and well equipped. It was professionally designed. (Scroll down and enjoy the beautiful outside views as well as the peacefulness of the interior of the condo.) At the Maui Banyan, our condos location is sought after because it is in the POPULAR "H" BUILDING. As such it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and shopping, yet it is protected from any Kihei Road noise. (CHECK "calendar" BELOW FOR AVAILABILITY.) The interior of the unit was decorated by a Feng Shui Master and is "simply beautiful." It is alive in color and peaceful in nature. I have included a picture of every room in the condo - so you can see it all. And please READ THROUGH the entire listing so that you know what we have to offer you.
We've had "rave reviews" from our visitors from as far away as Japan to the West and Germany to the East. Many of our Canadian guests and American snowbirds return year after year to escape the cold. Those who stay with us say they feel the Aloha Spirit. They love having our beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels etc, available at their disposal so they can walk to the beach and get wet on their very first day. About our condo: When you aren't appreciating the fantastic views or the ocean...there is always FREE WIRELESS INTERNET, cable TV, a DVD and stereo w/ CD...now how's that for roughing it? Truly a bargain, our unit offers facilities to make you feel completely at home away from home. For instance, there is a washer and dryer located in the unit along with a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and microwave. Of course our unit has air conditioning and a ceiling fan.
In the living room, we have a new comfy couch (which turns into a queen bed) and air conditioning. In our bedroom we have a comfortable queen bed with a ceiling and floor fans. All linens and towels are provided. Of course we have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. We have boogie boards and other toys, etc. for your use. (We just ask that you take care of the items that you use and leave the top shelves of the owners closet for owners private use.)
Our unit is located 4 floors up in the H building and is situated perfectly so we don't hear noise from Kihei Road. Yet I can cross Kihei Road and be on the beach in less than two minutes. Our building is conveniently positioned...you can quickly jump in the ocean, yet it is far enough back from the road and protected by 4 front buildings that stop the traffic noice from reaching us. The units, being all concrete, are very quiet.
Maui Banyan is one of the NEWEST CONDOS within minutes of the beach. It boasts two swimming pools, two hot tubs, several BBQ'S, tennis and COVERED PARKING as well as tropical landscape.
The Maui Banyan is located ACROSS THE STREET from Kamaole Beach and Park II, one of Maui's most noted and BEST WHITE SAND BEACHES. Want another beach? Simply turn left on Kihei Road and enjoy Kamaole III beach which includes a large park with swings, BBQ's and picnic areas. Both beaches are world class, both beaches are an easy and quick walk and both beaches are less than than five minutes away. BOTH BEACHES HAVE INCREDIBLE SUNSETS, SNORKELING AND WHITE SAND. Kamaole beaches have restrooms and a lifeguard and are perfect for sunset picnics, sunning, boogie boarding, swimming, or snorkeling...or just enjoying a view of the sparkling turquoise waters and the tropical islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe, and Molokini. Located in South Kihei, there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Within minutes you can even walk to a grocery store (Hawaiian Moons.)

I have vacationed in South Kihei for the past 15 years, staying either at a condo in South Kihei or at a resort in Wailea. I fell in love with South Maui and my dream was to own a condo there. I decided I liked the small town convenience of Kihei. It is accessible to a health food, grocery stores, a movie theatre, many restaurants, shopping, golf, the boat launch ramp for all the local water and other island tours and activities, beaches for surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving and the list goes on. And all I have to do is walk across Kihei Road to these amazing beaches or to the boat ramp or to shops and restaurants. I chose to buy at the Maui Banyan because it is the most convenient place I have stayed on the Island. I chose to buy at the Maui Banyan because it is a concrete building. Concrete stays a little cooler on those hot days but most importantly for me it is very quiet. I have never heard my neighbors and that is wonderful when staying in a condo/hotel situation. Although the complex is considered a smaller property it has two - pool/ hot tub/BBQ areas so it never feels crowded like some larger properties that only offer one pool area. Our condo is in the only building with an elevator, so we have the great view from the fourth floor but don't have to hike up steps to appreciate it. But of course my favorite part of our condo is being able to sit on the couch and see the ocean. Previously I had usually stayed in garden view units and thought that was just fine. BUT once I experienced the beauty of the sunset and the afternoon sun shining on the water...I realize staying in a condo with a view of the water adds so much to the Maui experience. Our building is not directly facing the water (hence no blazing afternoon sun overheating the condo) but turned just right so the ocean can be seen from the lanai, while sitting on the living room couch and through the sliding glass doors of the living room and bed room. The two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer are also wonderful conveniences not available at the resorts I had stayed at. Convenience and a condo (see pictures) that is filled love and beauty has become my dream come true and I would like to share it all with you.
