This is a completely renovated Ranch house that was originally built in the early 1900's by a Rancher and famous Rodeo rider (Jess Akers). There are still many of the original Corrals and outbuildings. The 30 acres is abundant with Oak, Pecan, and Misquete trees.
One great big Oak Tree sets in the front yard ,which is a beautiful sight when setting outside on the large porch. If inside, the central heating and air conditioning keeps it very comfortable. The wood burning fireplace is downstairs in a room that everyone can enjoy. (NOTE: To see another of my San Antonio properties go to listing #2744).
While this listing is under San Antonio as stated, it's actually on the outskirts, but you can drive to downtown San Antonio in 15 minutes. LAKE CALAVARES is nearly adjacent, but to get to the lake you must drive 1 mile around to it. A large Pond is 200 yards from the house.
The pond is about 75 yards long, 50 yards wide, and has a gental slope to a depth of about 8 ft. There is a Dock built onto the pond, with a ladder into the water for easy exit from the water if swimming. With the fresh clean well water supplying it, swimming is great, and so is the fishing. (Channel Cats, Bluegill Perch, and Largemouth Bass). Two large 8' tables are set under a canopy of shade trees to make for a great picnic spot near the pond.
A large Pavilion w/lights and barbeque is near the Volley ball area.

The clothes washer and dryer are in this room.(Upstairs has a Kingsize bed in one room, two Full size in another bedroom, and two Full size in the third room).

$225 night
Rate is for up to 8 people. Over`that it's $15 per night per person.
The above rates are based upon a 3 night minimum stay.
If less then 3 nights, the price will increase.
An extra charge for a Holiday. A cleaning fee is charged.
