A stylish Mallorcan villa with a lovely garden in Gotmar, a suburb of Puerto Pollença. Villa Paula is a short walk from the beach and the resort - the beach is just 700m from the house and it's an easy 15-minute walk into the resort itself.
The house is on a leafy street and all the main rooms look out onto the lush garden, surrounded by tall trees and palms. The rooms are light and cool with white walls, terracotta-tiled floors and spotlighting - and they're all at ground level.
There's a long lounge and dining space with several sets of double doors out onto a lovely covered garden-terrace. There are comfortable sofas around a fireplace, a TV, a DVD player/CD stereo, and a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is really well designed with lots of storage space, an island workstation, a breakfast table, and appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. A door leads from the kitchen down to the pool.
There are five large and sunny bedrooms, a double and four twins - all with enough space for an extra single bed or a cot. They are simply designed with wooden furniture and fresh linens. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, and full-height glass doors out onto a garden-terrace. There are two family bathrooms - one with an extra-large bath and a shower, and one with a large bath.
There are fantastically relaxing and family-friendly gardens on both sides of the house. Behind the house there's a great pool, with a sun-terrace, a breakfast table and chairs, and all surrounded by palms and hedges.
At the front of the house there's a long and shady raised terrace with a barbecue and another table and chairs, overlooking the garden - with a lawn, palms and tall trees. It's the perfect place for reading and relaxing, eating, talking and watching children play on the lawns.
