A gorgeous rural retreat, set up its own long gated driveway, with sweeping views across lush countryside towards the distant mountains of Pollensa and Formentor. The property is close to Villaparade's Can Vertent (ID 470) making it ideal for larger groups.
The Finca Vertent Miguel is a lovely mallorcan stone farmhouse that has just been completely refurbished. The brand new non-chlorine marble swimming pool is at the front of the villa with roman steps. There is also here newly planted lawn surrounding the pool as well as lovely established trees and shrubs. There is even a pond in the garden complete with wild frogs and an outdoor heated hot-tub for relaxation.
This villa boasts a wonderful brand new covered barbeque area, adjacent to the pool and separate from the main house with an extra large brick barbeque for summer dining.
There is also a large outside dining table, rustic double sinks and a separate gas hob as well as an exterior wc and shower with washing machine. The extensive patio is ideal for sunbathing and for children to play and there is even a small ramp for those with walking difficulties to access the villa.
The front main entrance has a covered beamed terrace that is furnished and ideal to sit in the shade. A low wall surrounding the terrace is decorated with pretty potted plants in a ray of colours. The front door leads into a spacious open-plan lounge dining room with sloping beamed ceilings, decorated in country style with a large wood dining table, plenty of sofa seating with homely interior decoration, full of personality and detail.
The kitchen is separated by a breakfast bar and has stuccoed walls, dark wood units and marble surfaces. There is a split level oven, gas hob and dishwasher. The original fireplace was in the kitchen and the owners have left the beamed wood surround as part of the kitchen units, making it a real unique feature. Spotlights throughout give a modern touch to the mallorcan décor.
An arch from the lounge dining room leads through to the ground level sleeping area. There is a pretty twin bedroom here and a separate bathroom with walk in shower decorated in striking green tiles with pale green stuccoed walls. (this would be ideal for those with mobility problems as the shower only has a small lip to get in) There is also a double bedroom with an enormous king size bed. This room has an ensuite shower bathroom decorated in fresh blue stucco. The lounge leads through into a hall where there is another door out onto the pool and terrace and the owners collection of mallorcan plates.
A staircase leads up to bedrooms on the second level and here there is a bright twin bedroom with large wardrobe. Next to this bedroom is a very large full bathroom with decorative porcelain double sinks and large vanity mirror. To complete the upper level is another double bedroom with antique bed and large dark wood wardrobe in traditional style. Both of these bedrooms on this upper level share an enormous sun terrace which runs the length of the house which is furnished with table and chairs to sit and have a morning coffee. The views from here look over the countryside right down to the bay of Pollensa and over to Formentor.
