A delightful holiday villa recently renovated to a lovely standard and decorated in a rural cottage style with small-paned windows, low wood beams and ceramic-tiled floors but with a contemporary feel. It’s set back from a quiet lane down a long gated driveway, set in beautiful, tropical gardens and is only a 2-minutes drive from Pollenca Old Town.
What a pretty house Villa Corb Mari is. It has a gorgeous front terrace that runs the length of the cottage, overlooking the pool and gardens, which is furnished with a wicker sofa and comfy chairs. There is also an outside dining table for summertime eating and a table tennis table. It also has a feature barbecue and exterior shower.
The gardens are full of colourful flowering plants and shrubs, figs, pears and olive trees. There are tall palms and large lawns around the pool and surrounding sunbathing patio. The gardens are private and its surroundings include an an orange grove and barley fields.The pool also has a seperate chilld-area making it an ideal retreat for youngsters.
There is an arched door entrance leading directly into a spacious lounge dining room that has attractive open stone walls and is furnished with a dining table and chairs and modern sofas. A large contemporary wood-burning stove is a pleasing feature and ideal for those cooler evenings. A door from the lounge dining room on this ground level leads into a large bathroom with a corner jacuzzi bath with beautiful blue wall tiles.
A staircase from the lounge leads up to a double bedroom and a smaller twin. There is also a shower bathroom here with a corner shower unit and a door out to a fantastic upper terrace which is perfect for sunbathing or reading a book in privacy. The kitchen is very modern with dark wood units, vitro hob and stainless steel appliances.
There is another staircase here leading up to a further double bedroom with lovely wood furniture and far-reaching views across the countryside. All bedrooms have hot and cold aircon units and lovely views. Please note, the upper bedrooms are accessed by different stairways which will need to be taken into account if booking this villa with young children in the party. Although the arrangement of rooms is fine for two families travelling together we would advise that the sole double bedroom is more suitable for older children.
