The Lodge at Twin Lakes is a spacious, 3000 square foot, custom, upscale, vacation home surrounded by hundreds of acres of national forest land.
Your family will enjoy four bedrooms, three living areas, and the wrap-around deck. The master suite includes a king-size bed, private balcony, and master five piece bath with jacuzzi tub and separate glassed-in shower. It also offers a lofted sitting room overlooking the living room. Two other bedrooms each have a queen bed, while the fourth bedroom has a full bunk (full bed with a twin bed above). The family room has a wet bar, game table, and large screen TV. The house has beautiful wood and tile floors, with gorgeous granite countertops in the kitchen.
Enjoy all that Colorado has to offer: bring your fishing poles, bikes, and skis. And do not forget your hiking boots and cameras! Whether you are here for the water, the mountains, or the wildlife, this is the perfect spot for it all. If you cannot fit it all in this trip, you will want to come back for more fun. This quiet scenic mountain retreat is close to Twin Lakes, Arkansas River, and the historic town of Leadville. You can also head down to Buena Vista for the hot springs, more whitewater rafting and kayaking.

Nestled in the woods, this quaint cabin is the perfect getaway for any occasion. Whether you need a weekend retreat, a house for the whole family or a place for “the guys” to stay during their hunting getaway, this is the place for you.
You will notice the house’s beautiful décor and craftsmanship from the moment you walk in the front door. Every room is decorated to compliment the beautiful Rocky Mountain surroundings. You can gaze at the outdoor beauty of Colorado through the big, open windows or you can sit in the front of the wood burning stove and warm your little paws while watching the snowflakes come down. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a delicious meal. Plus, the giant deck makes it nice to cook and eat outside. We especially enjoyed roasting marshmallows outside in the fire pit.
The location offers both privacy and peace and quiet given that the home is surrounded by acres of national forest. Yet, it’s close by Buena Vista and Leadville so you can get out and experience Colorado. With some great restaurants in town and plenty of things for the little cubs to do, you’ll never want to leave! Our favorite nearby activity was soaking in the soothing waters of Mt. Princeton Hot Springs.
