The villa is spacious and bright, and on the ground floor there's a large open-plan living room with cool tiled floors, two comfortable sofas surrounding an open fireplace and a TV and DVD player. There's also a large dining table and chairs and access to the covered dining terrace, barbecue area and sun terrace surrounding the pool. The well-equipped kitchen has lightwood units and chrome appliances, plus there's a breakfast dining table and chairs. Also on the groundfloor, there's a double bedroom, a shower bathroom and a twin bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and doors leading to the poolside terrace.
Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms - one double and one twin. Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom and share a balcony which has views of the local area and even a glimpse of the sea.
The enclosed, private garden is a wonderful space and the perfect place to enjoy endless days in the Algarve sunshine. The large swimming pool is surrounded by terracing with sun loungers and an outdoor shower. And, there's a covered dining terrace and a wonderful undercover barbecue-kitchen area, plus there are large manicured lawns dotted with palm trees and edged by beautifully colourful flowerbeds.
This impressive house and its beautiful gardens epitomize a family villa holiday in the Algarve. It's in a great location, within a 20-minute walk or short drive of the beach and resort, yet there's a real tranquil feel that you would not normally expect in a resort villa.
