Located in the quaint little town of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, the Creek Cottage is an American’s dream vacation home. Only a two hour drive outside of the District of Columbia, this picturesque water-front home resides in one of America’s oldest towns, which in 1984 was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy tranquil fishing and boating in the summer, hiking all year round, and nearby ski-ing in the winter.

In the winter, one can choose to go skiing for the day or even just the afternoon, at Ski Roundtop, only a half an hours drive from home. Right off the backyard of the Creek Cottage, runs the Yellow Breeches Creek, consistently stocked with trout, this creek has recently gained a national reputation to being home to some of the best fly fishing in America. It is also less than an hour away from outlet mall shopping.

Who needs the Kennedy Center, when you have the Allenberry, the famous resort and playhouse, owned and operated by the Heinz family. The Historic Allenberry staged their first play in 1948 and has continued throughout the years with class and elegance.

One of the America’s most historic landmarks, The Gettysburg Battlefield, is located only half an hours drive from the Creek Cottage. In the same amount of time, one can drive out to Hershey Park and enjoy all the rides, entertainment and chocolate one’s inner child could desire.

The creek cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large great room consisting of an open kitchen, an entertainment center and a dining area. The master bedroom has a King sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The other downstairs bedroom has a single bed. The upper floor has a bedroom, with two twin beds and an adjoining sitting room, with a queen sized put down futon. Ideal for a family, short or long term rental, or home leave in the USA. It is also close to Dickinson College - ideal for home-coming weekends, college visits, or graduation weekend.

  • Loved it! What a peaceful little cottage to get away from it all. Our group of seven Moms made the short 45 minute trip from our homes (just far enough to get away from the kids and husbands) for a weekend of scrapbooking, movie watching and alot of just silly girl talk. We highly recommend the pizza at Anile's, yum! Next time we plan to try the Tavern. We just can't say enough about the place.     In addition, I have received many positive responses via email. The following are just a couple: We had an absolutely delightful time. The accommodations were terrific, the weather and fish cooperated, we had some nice quiet time on the deck as well as a great hike up the South Mountain, and fully enjoyed several meals at the Boiling Springs Tavern. All in all a perfect weekend.. Thanks for making your wonderful house available to us. Just wanted to let you know again how wonderful everything was at the house. We enjoyed it immensely. We hope to come down again maybe in the fall. I think this will be one of my favorite spots to visit with my family. I hope you found everything okay on your end when we left. Again thanks so much.

  • Our family of 6 stayed at this beautiful cottage, and had a wonderful time. It had all the conviences of home. It was so peaceful sitting out on the beautiful deck or on the dock feeding the ducks and geese. My kids ages 5 to 15, especially enjoyed taking the canoe and paddle boat out on the shallow peaceful creek. We even tubed from the beginning of town to the cottage. It was like relaxing on a lazy river. We also enjoyed going into the friendly town of Boiling Springs and swimming at the local pool which actually has four pools and waterslides. We took day trips to Hershey, Gettysburg, and Harrisburg. All were within 30 minute drive. I can't say enough good things about the cottage. It's great place to get away, yet close enough to all the modern conviences of shopping and resturants. The owners were outstanding, and truly went out of their way to make sure our family was comfortable in the cottage. Thank-you for helping us to make wonderful memories for our family.
