We put our large air conditioned two bedroom, two bath condominium together with fun and loving care at La Ceiba La Ropa. The result is an extremely comfortable, well equipped apartment with all the comforts of a stateside home. Best of all, our condominium is just one half block from beautiful world famous La Ropa beach. An easy walk for children.

In the kitchen,we have a side-by-side GE refrigerator with ice maker, a GE washer-dryer, a gas four burner stove with oven, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, electric chopper, blender, many sharp knives, three cutting boards, a double stainless steel sink, a steam iron and ironing board, a wonderful large pantry, custom made cabinets and drawers, a sliding shelf for all new pots and pans, casseroles, and utensils needed for cooking. We are one of the few condominiums anywhere with a propane powered gas grill on the terrace for your cooking convenience.

The living room has large banquettes for seating and a new Sony flat screen TV with Satellite reception that gets every US network including premium stations like HBO, Cinemax, Starz, CNN, ESPN, etc. and Spanish channels.

The dining room has seating for six with a marble and wood inlaid table. A new hand-painted breakfront has been custom made by the artists of M/F Gallery in Eronga near Patzcuaro.

In the large Master bedroom, there is a Select Comfort Numbers king sized bed we purchased in the US and brought down for sleeping comfort. You just select a number and get the degree of firmness or softness you desire for either person. The Master Bedroom also has an area with a custom made desk with a shelf for your laptop and a comfortable desk chair from Office Depot. There is broadband DSL WIFI internet and telephone.

The guest bedroom has built-in twin beds, a custom made dresser and lovely Mexican mirror. Both bedrooms have ample closets. The Master Bedroom closet is almost the size of a small room, with a custom made dresser/vanity and beautiful Mexican tiled sink and surround The shower has a personal shower. The hall bathroom also has a Mexican tile sink and large shower.

The terrace can be reached from both bedrooms and the living room via sliding glass doors. We have four leather chairs and a leather table, reclining chair and a hammock. The view from the terrace is of the large condominium pool and the palapa-roofed meeting room with swim up bar, but no bartender. The pool area is visible in our pictures.

The whole complex is gated with a 24-hour attendant and private parking lot.

  • Gerald & MaryAnne have the perfect condo (spacious, well equipped with comfortable beds & everything you need, heavenly pool & sea breezes)in the best location (south end of La Ropa in Zihuataneo) and is one flat block to the best beach in all of Mexico. The wave action for swimming is just right for anyone. It's a wonderful, peaceful & quiet neighborhood with easy access to a bus or taxi to the Mercado, ect. It is really the best of the best. It has everything for the best vacation ever!.

  • We had a wonderful time in Zihutanejo. The condominium was beautiful, the pictures do not do justice. The owners did a wonderful job decorating the home and it was easy and safe to stay in the condo. The staff was great, very helpful and polite. The La Ceiba condos are really nice and the pool and grounds are very well taken care of and clean. There were very few people in the condos (off season) and it was very quiet and peaceful. One of the owners gave us excellent advice and helped us hire a guide. The only thing we wish we could have was more time to stay longer. Maybe next time. We appreciated the owners of the unit we stayed in, they made a very nice place for renters. We have traveled quite a bit, and this was in the ten.

  • This is the most wonderful piece of paradise on earth. I can't wait to go back. The condo is gorgeous, spacious, and great for families or couples. The Kreegers have thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The residents are also a very fine group of people. There are many local areas to explore and the beach is incredible.   • Until now, we have always stayed at hotels when we visit Mexico. What were we thinking?? This condo is spacious, private, well-equipped and well located. Just a short walk to the beach (our 4 year old had no problem walking even after a day of swimming). There are so many restaurants nearby we did not cook or dine at the condo, but it certainly was well-equipped for indoor or patio dining. The unit is in the corner, private, quiet and comfortable. The pool and grounds were lovely. And kudos to Jerry, the owner, for being prompt, responsive and helpful in planning the trip.

  • A gal pal and I had a wonderful time at Casa Estrella. It was spacious, beautifully decorated with a lot of care to detail and lots of local color. It had all the conveniences and then some . It was large enough to afford each of us privacy. The people in the other units were very friendly and helpful if advice was sought, but also let you alone if you wanted privacy. The condo staff was also quite helpful and the Kreegers left lots of helpful info for us. The beach is close by and we enjoyed walking into town most days. (We generally took the bus or a taxi back). By all accounts Zihuatanejo has the most guaranteed perfect escape-the-winter weather. GO!

  • SUCH an amazing condo…we had an incredible time. The condo itself was all that we could have hoped for and more: very clean, modern, and with all of the conveniences of home. We loved Zihuatanejo…this was our first visit. There are plenty of great restaurants, and despite being in Mexico, we felt very safe. Being surfers, we drove to nearby beaches each morning. Amazing. We recommend this condo to everyone who wants a relaxing vacation, in a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere.

  • FABLUOUS! Easy walk to the beach and fabulous food nearby! Great for families. Our 16 and 12 year old loved the pool and the beach. The buses and taxies are just a few steps away and very easy to use. Everything you need for a great trip is in the condo, even a cooler to take with you to the beach. Would we return? YOU BET!!
