Take a day trip to Cortona for the open market, to Arezzo for one of the largest flea/antique markets in Europe, to Deruta; the center of ceramic making, Assisi; the home of St. Francis, Montepulciano; the famous wine region of central Italy or Chiancano Terme; a region known for it's many natural thermal baths. Panicale is surrounded by some of the best vineyards, olive groves and truffle hunting grounds in the country! Arrive in Panicale a visitor. After one week you will feel a part of this town!
