The cabin is perfect for a fun get-away, company retreat, winter or summer vacation or a family reunion. The Takoda House is close to the PDQ market, Sugar Pine State Park, Squaw Valley ski resort, Alpine Ski Resort and is just 5 minutes from Homewood Ski Resort. Wireless internet is also available
5 minutes away from the Sunnyside lodge and bar and from the best breakfast in the world: Fire Sign Cafe!
Beds in Main Cabin:
Room 1 = 1 queen bed
Room 2 = 2 sets of bunk beds (or 4 twin beds)
Room 3 = 1 queen bed
Room 4 = 1 bunk bed with 1 twin on top and 1 double bed on bottom
Beds in In-laws Quarters:
1 queen bed and 1 double hide-away bed
There is private beach access and a park a block away!
The cabin is also a block from the well-maintained bike trail and is right next door to Sugar Pine State Park--which is ideal for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter and bike riding and hiking in the summer.
The cabin is very family-friendly but also has many romantic touches for those intimate weekends alone! Master bedroom includes sitting area and fireplace!

Why the Owner Chose Tahoma
We bought the vacation rental after 20 years of renting in the area. Every year that we drove home we'd have a discussion about purchasing some property. We finally did it!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We love that the cabin is close to everything that once we arrive we really don't need a car. We get our main grocery shopping done on the way in and then we can walk to the homeowners' beach, the little market, the pizza place, the ice cream shack or the park! If we do want to go somewhere --in the summer there's a free trolley that runs around the west shore! it's great! So much to do in Tahoe--so little time!
