This Yosemite vacation home is located in peaceful, quiet Foresta which is INSIDE of the Entrance Gates of Yosemite National Park. It is only seven miles from Yosemite Valley, with stunning views of Yosemite Valley and El Capitan. This is the closest private, rental home to the incomparable valley! Located at 4200 feet above sea level, Foresta has unsurpassed views of Yosemite Valley and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains.
EL CAPITAN VIEW is available for nightly rental. It is 1600 square feet and can accommodate no more than six guests. This two story home is so named after the stunning view of El Capitan from the home. It is also the closest private home to Yosemite Valley, only 7 miles! Enjoy the cool summer evening on the back deck as you watch the moon rise over El Capitan and the surrounding Yosemite mountains. You will not believe how quiet and peaceful it is in Foresta, Yosemite, no traffic noise just the sounds of birds. In the winter you can take a scenic 35 minute drive to Badger Pass through Yosemite Valley.

We stayed at Chris and Doe's El Cap View cabin the weekend of Thanksgiving 2009. The location is perfect inside the park in Foresta. The location is remote and quiet, but ten minutes from Yosemite Valley. It was a perfect location for daily activities in the valley and had all the amenities for nice dinners back at the house. Even one night BBQing in the snow. Chris and Doe made it easy from first contact to when we left; there directions and suggestions (including Thanksgiving Dinner at the Awahnee, Excellent) were great. We will rent their place again; we have already made several personal referrals. Thanks Brian and Susan.
