Completed in 1992, this two bedroom two bath home was designed by a local architect for the relaxed Key West tropical lifestyle. Located on a quiet old town street only one block from Upper Duval Street and Truman Avenue, it offers off-street parking, easy walking/biking to Key West’s finest dining, shopping, attractions, and the beach at Fort Taylor State Park.
The one and a half story living space has nine french doors opening onto a private courtyard with a solar-heated pool and spa. High ceilings with multiple skylights, pickled pine wooden walls, casual furniture and the colorful hues of the Caribbean create a space that is both soothing and stimulating. Both bedrooms have tile floors and double french doors opening onto the courtyard and reflect the island's maritime influence with built-in furniture and storage areas. Besides the spectacular indoor shower, there is a small private deck with an outdoor shower for the truly native experience. The site plan is similar to a courtyard home. The bedrooms are in a separate building from the living space. The pool and spa are totally private and you share no space with anyone.
Maximum accommodation is six persons. There is a king size bed in the Master bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom and queen sofa bed in the living area. The living room and both bedrooms have cable tv and dvd players. Pets welcome, ask about any restrictions.

What could be better than Spring in Key West. Of course the true measure of any property is location, location, location. Sullin’s house is walking distance to most of the key places you will want to visit. Most notable “walkables” include : Hemingway’s House, Better Than Sex (dessert restaurant), Conch Train tour all within 5 minutes. Shopping galore on Duval St, Mallory Square for great sunsets, Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, Sloppy Joes Bar, Hogs Breath Saloon are only a ten minute walk. We ate at the 915 on Duval, New York Pasta Garden and Sarabeth’s which were all within a 5 minute walk. We recommend each of these for a good meal. Also, in 2 minutes you can get to a scooter/electric car rental place and CVS (which sells wine). Fausto’s market is about a 15 minute walk for groceries. The house was very clean and the deck and pool are very private. It’s exactly what you would expect in Key West. You can easily roll up the overhanging deck cover for “great” morning sun. The pool is solar heated to just the right temperature or you can just sit in the Jacuzzi which can be heated up if you prefer. We had breakfast on the deck every morning followed by quiet and sun till about noon. Then we up and leave for the afternoon of site seeing then returning for snacks, a cool bottle of wine and a “short” nap. Off to dinner and a night out on Duval St. Repeat…… Sullins makes the whole reservation process a breeze. We found it difficult to leave and head home to the Northeast at the end of our stay. We’ll certainly be back.

Just returned from a wonderful Thanksgiving stay - the house was perfect on all counts. Great location, quiet and very well-equipped. The house is charming and and as other reviewers have stated, the floor plan and outdoor space/pool/spa are just great. Basically, the perfect Old Town Key West getaway. Sullins - thank you for making the rental process a snap - we're looking forward to our next visit!

This was a perfect house for 2 couples traveling to Key West for a long weekend getaway. Sullins could not have been easier to deal with and made the reservation and rental process easy and stress free. The location of the house is just ideal: only one street over from Duval yet you feel like you are in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood - and it's fairly central relative to Duval so you can get to either end of town pretty quickly. The house itself has everything you need. It is well equipped, comfortable, and looks fantastic. There is a great sound system that you can play indoors or out and the pool was absolutely PERFECT. And pet friendly to boot! Our little furry friend Zoey loved the pool courtyard. We found that we didn't lack anything we wanted or needed at Sullins' place. Thanks for a great stay!

Sullins home is adorable and near anything you could possibly want to do. And what a treat that you can take your car or rent scooters from around the corner & go shopping and cook at home! Our favourite was taking morning dunks in the pool, afternoon dunks after the beach, and night dunks before bed. Don't forget the outdoor shower! You could go in the buff like my beau liked to, or keep your suit on like me. :c) As for beaches, we reccomend bringing ping pong paddles or badmitton type rackets as an activity on the sandbars. Also, seasocks are your friends. (check out Higgs & Bahia Honda) The house is definitely big enough for a family or 2 couples, but we were happy to make it a romantic getaway. Sullins home will without a doubt be our new anniversary spot! My only reccomendation is get ready to slather up on high octane sunscreen, and a routine application of bug spray, but somehow only for the sweet-blooded in the group. Also, it is impossible to get a hangover in Key West. Must be something in that perfect Southern air.. Take some tours, relax, and have fun!!

This was our second stay at this property in 2010. Our first trip was back in June and we stayed again December 4-11.Everything was as good as the first trip and we even had the opportunity to use the heated hot tub. We are already looking to book the home again for June 2011. A truly unique property with real Key West flavor just steps from everything. No issues, No surprises, just what we look for on our trips. The pool area, disappearing walls that allow the house to flow to the outside make this a fantastic property.

My husband and I along with two friends stayed in this lovely house in March of 2010. We had the best time. We lived in Key West for a few years a long time ago and wanted to go back and be near Duval Street and all the bars. This was perfect! The location was great, close to everything but on a small quiet street. We will definitely return to this house in the future. Thanks for the great memories!

My wife and I just came back from a week in KW at this house and highly recommend the property. The home is truly unique and great for entertaining. The private pool and water fall hot-tub were top notch and the indoor outdoor speaker system was a nice feature.In the summer the pool gets sun all day & they have a grill at pool side that we used often. All items in the home were in good condition and we had no surprises or problems. The owner was great to deal with and made sure we had a great experience for our trip. The house is less than a block from Duval but totally private and quite. Very close to everything you want to see in KW. The pool area was so nice we spent a lot of time there with friends cooking and drinking and saved a ton of money. We are going back in December and will rent this house again then.

We really enjoyed our stay. The pool and hot tube area was beautyfull with the Bougainvella in bloom. The French doors really open things up to the air. Everything was very clean and well kept. Cooking equipment was at a mininum though. Location couldnt be better to walk Duval St. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The owner was extremly helpfull and freindly. Everything he stated was true. I have already told a few people how much we loved the place.
