The past reveiws talks about the hot tub and the tv. Yeah the tub has some cracks but it works perfectly fine. The tv did go out once but I think it was because we had the fire on and it overheated. Other than that it was perfect for our little family and it was great because we were within walking distance of everythingRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our overall stay at Fox 5 was a good one. The positives were that it was clean, walking distance to the Village Mall and walking distance to the Sharc facility. The negatives were that the main, downstairs TV turns off by it self from time to time which is very frustrating. The problem is not the timer per previous review responses, it is a TV electronic problem. The floors squeak pretty bad when walking around, so hopefully everyone is sleeping at the same time. The entire property is worn pretty hard, but most things seem to work. Only about 1/2 of the jets work on the old hot tub. Appears to be a rental unit and not one that is maintained to be a owner used unit much. But for the lower winter rental price, the unit is a good one for a couple or very small family.Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.

This cabin was just what we were looking for, cozy and clean and a great place for the family to unplug and re-connect. Not fancy, but it had all the basics covered and then some, and it couldn't have been more centrally located. Right behind Blondie's pizza (Good Pizza) and easy walk to the village. We took advantage of the "SKI OR RIDE IN 5" amazing offer at Mt Bachelor......What A GREAT DEAL!! If you want to learn to ski or snowboard, this is the best progam out there. 5 days of lift tickets, 5 two hour lessons, all the rental gear, preffered parking pass, all for $199 per person...and the kids get a free season pass upon completion!! Plus discounted season passes for the next two years and discounted gear rental or purchase packages. Two learned to ski, two learned to snow board and one had a great time hanging out at the village and reading a couple books. The only issue was the TV over the fireplace would shut off after 15-30 minutes (and the sleep timer was not on), but there were two more flat panels in the bedrooms and it gave us an excuse to play some board games. Something here for everybody in the family. We would like to come back in the summer and take advantage of the bike trails, river and SHARC facility.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We enjoyed the house, with a couple of small issues. With 4 adults, it was hard to have just one shower. And a minor irritation was that we had to call the Realty company to get the wi-fi password--why couldn't it be posted in the house? Other than that, we found the place clean and tidy and well-appointed..Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house has a great location! Short walk to the Village Mall and about a 10 minute walk to the Sharc Facility (which was enjoyed by ALL of us.) The house itself was ok. The tv downstairs did not work properly as it kept shutting off, very randomly. The hot tub was not clean (there was stuff floating in the water and there were fritos all over the area surrounding the hot tub and deck.) We also had to thoroughly clean the BBQ before we could use it because it was absolutely disgusting. The beds were super comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, and the sheets were great!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you for taking them to let us know about your experience while staying in Fox Lane #5. We apologize for the inconveniences during your stay. We have a service company that maintains and cleans our private hot tub; we encourage you to call the Hot Tub Company or the front desk at Sunset Lodging to fix any hot tub issues. Also, we encourage all of our guests to call the front desk at the Sunset Lodging office with any cleaning issues like the BBQ and any maintenance issues like the TV not working properly. We have informed Sunset Lodging of these issues to get them resolved before any other guests arrive. Sunset researched the TV issue and it is working properly, however someone had unfortunately turn on the "sleep" button which automatically turns the TV off. We have corrected that issue. Of all the property managers in Sunriver, we have found Sunset to be the best and the most responsive. They are not perfect and will make the occasional mistake, but I've yet to see another rental company step up to make it right. Thank you again for taking the time to inform us about your stay in our vacation home. We hope to see you soon!

We loved our stay at Fox#5!! It was a cute well cared for house. The owners and rental company were great! Sunriver is a great place for a family reunion. The kids had a blast at the new SHARC facility. We will definitely be back, and hopefully be staying here again. This house also is the perfect location close to the village and SHARC facility.Thank YouRecommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
