This listing is for two separate cabins in the same community and within walking distance of each other. Please read through all of the details for each cabin separately (Snow & Sun Cabin = 2 bed & 1 bath) and the brand new(Honey Bear Cabin = 2 bed & 2 bath).
Both cabins are in the wonderfully cozy and private Ponderosa Estates area of Plain, WA which is just 20 minutes from Leavenworth and 25 minutes from Stevens Pass. These cozy cabins are wonderfully maintained with all of the necessities and are perfect for either a romantic getaway or a fun family vacation.
What you can look forward to:
* 1 minute walk to large children's playground
* 2 minutes walk to private beach access on Wenatchee River
* 3 minute drive to ice cream/lattes/free internet/store
* 10 minute drive to State Park, water-skiing/beach/campground
* 12 minute drive to Fish Lake (including winter ice fishing)
* 20 minute drive to Leavenworth
* 25 minute drive to Stevens Pass
* 10 seconds needed to crash on the log bed
Snow & Sun Cabin
This cabin is approximately 800 sq/ft with 2 bedrooms (1 queen + 1 double + cots) and 1 bath and hosts a wonderful view of the Wenatchee river. The cabin is wonderfully decorated in knotty pine and includes a full kitchen, log bed and an attached game room of 350 sq/ft. There is a full deck, car port, and separate RV hookups. This cozy cabin is in a fantastic location and the roads are fully maintained during the winter. (1 pet negotiable & no smoking)
Honey Bear Cabin
This cabin is brand new (2009) and boasts 1200 sq/ft! The cabin has a fantastic lodge/chalet layout with 2 bedrooms (2 queens), 2 baths, open loft w/queen futon, and a large covered deck so you can enjoy the snow/sun without being in it! The large great room has a beautiful gas fireplace and large comfy sofas to watch the 50" big screen. (no pets & no smoking)
