Villas Tranquilas is beautiful Tahitian style destination that was designed by award winning architect, Steve Bliss. We have four buildings secluded on our huge six acre private property. We have a swimming pool and a romantic, fun chill-out pool. We have furnished our villas with comfort and style as the priority.
Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, good mattresses, solid wood and wrought iron furniture make us a cut above the rest. We have high end kitchen furnishings and lots of great comfortable places to sit with different views.
We built this from the ground up, thinking of what we would want if we were you, the renter on a very special vacation!
Each building has four large town homes and are set apart in our own oasis of nature and beauty. You will find privacy and tranquility, without feeling isolated. We have 24 hour security. We are five minutes from fun and adventure tours, stores and restaurants, and the beach.
We have two bedrooms and two bathrooms with super comfortable mattresses. With an unusually comfortable sleeper couch in the living room, these units sleep up to six. We have furnished and decorated them a warm bali look that will please your senses. No junk. No rental house second hand furnishing feeling!
There are many places in our indoor and outdoor living space to sit with your group or alone. Each is designed for ultimate relaxation. Rockers and comfortable couches, indoor and outdoor dining, balconies, and a great Rancho with a barbeque, are some of your options for hanging out.
Whether you are looking for a quiet romantic getaway or a family adventure, we can accommodate your needs. We will always work hard, to make sure that you have the holiday that you have dreamed of. We are sure you will have a wonderful time. Our goal is that you have No disappointments!

My family of 6 (including my husband, Sand Hater) was very comfortable at Villas Tranquilas. Thanks to a split level layout, there was plenty of space for everyone. And thanks to a full-size kitchen (including dishwasher!) and W/D, we saved lots of $$. Kids (ages 8-12) loved the pool and adults enjoyed sitting in the shallow pool sipping fresca sandia. The internet connection was shaky but was being upgraded. We chose taxis and public transportation instead of renting a car. The ride was about 5 minutes and I liked having a driver that knew the area. The cost was around $5 OW (still cheaper than a rental). Convenient to Quepos and from there, to Manuel Antonio. Not as crowded or as expensive as Manuel Antonio. A definite recommend for families.

Kathy was very accommodating and helpful when we arrived. The pool was a very nice way to wash off the salt from swimming in the surf at Manuel Antonio. A troop of squirrel monkeys went through on the morning we left. A great, big frog, a geko, a little land crab, and some very interesting bugs were visitors when we sat out on the patio. The suite wasnew, clean, and maid service washed dishes for us. It was about 3 kilometers into Quepos proper so we taxied a lot. Easy access by taxi to all that Manuel Antonio has to offer. We enjoyed the National Park tour. Quepos and especially Manuel Antonio are tourist towns in every sense with a huge number of excellent restaurants, dozens of souvenir stalls, great beaches, and lots to do if you want to spend money. Villas Tranquilas was great to come home to and relax with a beer.

The owners of the villa we stayed in contacted us personally, and the manager was very helpful in giving directions and setting up excursions. It was so enjoyable sitting on the patio early in the morning with our coffee;one morning we saw a group of about 9-10 squirrel monkeys in the trees right outside! The property is well-kept, and the guards were reassuring and friendly. We were secluded, but close enough to town for a nice dinner out and the tour guide picked us up at the door. We enjoyed everything about our stay there, except for the fact that we would really have been more comfortable with air-conditioning on the lowel level. We would recommend it, and if you go, you will probably get a friendly welcome from Pablo, the resident dog!

Villas were charming and with nice details...nice wine glasses and beer mugs for liquid refreshment. Nice tile floors. Kitchen was well stocked and had nice cabinetry. Preparing meals was not a problem; adequate counterspace and seating in villa. Grounds were very well maintained and pretty ( new plantings). Surrounding woods are quite thick jungle and full of birds and circadias. Howler monkeys heard off indistance frequently. Definite feel for jungle; with amenities! Beds and bathrooms of our villa was very comfortable. Good a/c units upstairs and fans everywhere. The pool area has a nice setup for cookouts. pool is not huge but very good. cell phone available for "community" use was helpful. On site manager was sweet and very helpful with info/questions. Location is less than 10 minute drive from Quepos; necessitating car rental or arranged taxi. Down side is driving distance from San Jose. Must have 4 wheel drive and be ready for long/ bumpy drives. Whole country is primarily graded washboard road. Great place to stay; would stay here again if we go back.

We had a fabulous time in Costa Rica. This was my second time to the Manuel Antonio/Quepos Area and the rest of my groups first time. It was nice touch to have the property manager meet us at the airport. The accomodations were very nice, the air conditioning in the bedrooms is definitly a nice amenity often overlooked. Plenty of room for all four of us, the property is very secluded which was relaxing after a day filled with zip lining, or waterfall rappeling. Lots of stuff to do and see, beaches are beautiful! Definitly worthy of a repeat visit and I will be staying here again.
