This home was just completed in September 2006 and is located in a very quiet residential area. It is 2300 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. In addition, it is furnished with some of Costa Rica's finest hand crafted furniture. The four bedrooms will easily sleep eight people. Two of the bedrooms have king beds, one bedroom has a queen size bed, and the fourth bedroom has 2 twin size beds. Plus, if you need a quiet place in the home to conduct business, there is a private area that is located away from the living room. This room has a desk and is the ideal space to use as an office away from home. The home has a 2-car garage for your use. It also contains an alarm system with monitoring. This quiet street has its own security guard.
Santa Ana is a upscale suburb of San Jose. This home is conveniently located only 15 minutes from the airport or San Jose. You will discover Santa Ana has a dryer climate. It also has a superior highway access so you are within close driving distance to many of the wonderful places San Jose has to offer. This includes Costa Rica's largest mall, the MultiPlaza, Parque Valle del Sol 18-hole golf course, restaurants, CIMA Hospital and Medical Tower.
In addition, if you have time and are interested in seeing other sights in Costa Rica beyond San Jose, we encourage you to visit the beach. We have 2 beachfront homes near Jaco. If you are interested, you can view these homes at #60800 and #76169. They are only 1 hour from Manuel Antonio National Park. You will want to include a Canopy Tour on your vacation too. If you are interested in renting both the Santa Ana house and a beachfront house, ask us about a package deal.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay in Sunny Santa Ana. The owners were great and they were so helpful in setting up drivers through their cousin that has a home right next door. She was so amazing and even took my husband to the grocery store with her right after my surgery. We have always had a positive experience with VRBO and also with the people in Costa RIca. Again, we were not disappointed and were very impressed with the friendliness of everyone we encountered. The hospital, our case manager and physician were all top notch. I would do it all over again and stay in Santa Ana.

SORRY FOR BEING SO LATE ....THE THREE OF US STAYED AT SUSANS HOUSE IN SANTA ANA FOR FIVE DAYS ITS WAS NICE AND QUIT BUT STILL CLOSE TO THE MULT PLAZA AND OUTBACK,HOOTERS AND ALL THE PLACES GUYS WILL GO'''' FOR THE PRICE IT WAS THE BEST DEAL ,,,WE THEN WENT TO JACO AND EXTENDED OUR STAY AT SUSANS BEACH HOUSE IT WAS THE BEST VACATION I EVER HAD....TO BAD IT HAD TO END......I WILL BE RETURNING TO COSTA RICA IN NOV.2010 AND WILL TRY TO STAY IN SANTA ANA ....SUSAN WAS SO HELPFUL AND EVERYTHING IS AS SHE SAID.......THANKS SUSAN LOUIE TRUJILLO CHINO HILLS CA

We are a little late in entering our comments! My husband, 14 and 2 year old kids and I, stayed here August 2008 when we first moved to Costa Rica from California and had a marvelous time! The entire process of renting the house, moving in, moving out went quite smoothly. Susan (the owner) is a sweetheart..she has someone next door who was a great resource. The home itself is HUGE! very comfortable beds, cool breezes, nice, deep tub ,grassy yard and safe on a dead-end street so our son could play outside. We'd stay here again in an instant! Six of us traveled to Costa Rica in Jan. of 2008. Because we arrived at different times, we used this house as a base before traveling to the owner's other home on Jaco Beach, which we also rented. The home in Santa Ana is very comfortable and well decorated and is accurately described in the information provided on the website. There is a guard on duty 24/7 and the house is very secure. There is a two-car garage and the neighborhood is very quiet with the caretaker couple right next door. We enjoyed seeing the San Jose area before driving to the coast. The owner offered so much help about San Jose and what sights to see in the area. She also told us about several interesting sights to see on the way to the beach house. We ate at several very nice restaurants, one only a block from the home. Our only problem was in finding the house. Even with a GPS and very detailed directions from the owner, it took us four hours to find the house. We would recommen hiring a taxi to follow if you try to drive.

I cannot say enough positive things about this lovely home. It was perfect for four travelers on a month-long business trip. The home is in a nice neighborhood, and security was never an issue. The rooms are all beautifully furnished, light and airy. We were all extremely comfortable and very happy not to be cooped up in a hotel, not to mention the great value. It would also be great for families. All business dealings with the owners were straightforward and pleasant. I unreservedly recommend this house if you're going to be in the San Jose area.

What a great house! Very clean and EXTREMELY comfortable! Huge bedrooms, beautiful kitchen and perfect location. We were able to get to everywhere we needed to go with no problems. Safe, secure, cozy and comfortable! I would recommend this house to anyone. The owners were a pleasure to work with and very helpful. Everything we needed was taken care of and who could argue with the price! This house is my choice for any short term trip to Costa Rica's Central Valley! Thanks so much!
