This house is beautiful! The furnishings and updating that have been done are wonderful! We really enjoyed the pool, and the landscaping is just beautiful! We were very comfortable there, and the location is great! We really enjoyed our vacation! We would defintieluy recommend this unit, and will be staying there again!

We stayed here for 2 wks last year and after staying in a different house this year we realise just how inferior this was compared to others in the Moorings. When we arrived we were annoyed to discover there was no landline. We always buy the phonecards making calls to UK very reasonable.We didn't have skype or American mobiles and with 2 sick relatives at home we had unbelievable mobile bills. The house was not clean. With hindsight we should have requested the cleaning fee back since it was dirty and I wasted time on holiday having to clean. We did take photos and still have them but anger fades with time! The pool deck was very dirty, mouldy and mossy and needed replaced and the pool was filthy. My husband wasted an afternoon of his holiday cleaning an area on the deck that we could use. Deck very small and only one really small bit gets sun. There were only 4 dining chairs although the house is advertised as sleeping 6-8 and when we complained we were given a deckchair to use at the table! The TV area although having a big Tv had extremely uncomfortable conservatory style furniture that struggled to seat 4 in total, one of which was a bed settee which was impossible to sleep on. There is a nice comfortable seating area but it had no TV! There were only 2 old sun-loungers but an abundance of old tables and patio chairs. This house could be lovely for minimum investment as the bedrooms and bathrooms were fine (though not as clean as could have been) and the kitchen was really nice and new. It needs a new bigger pool deck, some new sofas, dining chairs, an appropriate number of new sun loungers and a better cleaning service . Only then would I recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed the house, it was very clean, well maintained and we enjoyed using the pool. The house was exactly as described. The ownders provided excellent customer service both before and during our stay. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a good time while in Naples.

House was great and I can see that the owners care about their guests; well cleaned, and excellent customer service during the stay as well as prior to stay. I love the kitchen it was really stocked with great tools to cook! I would come back to the house. If you are looking for a great house to relax and enjoy the area this is the house for you!

We rented this property for three weeks last Winter. We love the Moorings area of Naples and vacation there annually. While we didn't have any huge issues with the property while we were there, the amenities weren't quite as described. There was no barbeque grill, and the kitchen supplies left a little to be desired. The sliding glass doors were very difficult to operate, not sliding easily on their tracks. We did need to contact the owner when the kitchen sink backed up, and this was taken care of quickly. Prior to renting, I asked some questions about utilities and what was and wasn't covered under the rental terms. I was assured that the owner had never charged any previous lessees for overage on utilities. Consequently, I was shocked to receive only $15 back from my $500 security deposit, having been charged to replace the garbage disposal, as well as over $300 for an electric bill. The pool heating was not something we had any control over, and is the only possible explanation for significant electricity use during our stay. I contacted the owner for documentation for the electrical bill and for an explanation of the garbage disposal fee, but never got a response back. Caveat emptor.

Owner response:The renter does have control over the pool heat. You can turn it on and off. If you leave it on constantly, the cost to heat the pool will increase. We did provide documentation for all of the expenses incurred. We have just completed a full renovation as of August 2008! Brand new kitchen, bathrooms, floors, furniture, etc...
