Come enjoy our "Old Homosassa" retreat. Enjoy your days on the river or in one of the many nearby parks, and relax for the evening in the cozy den downstairs before retiring upstairs to one of three bedrooms. Feel free to bring your WELL BEHAVED pets and children. The house sits on a half acre of property lavishly shaded in Oaks. The back yard is fenced for your four legged friends and there is a fire ring for camp fires.
Bring your boat as there is plenty of parking in the front yard. Guys, fish away while your wives go to one of many antique shops or art galleries. Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and the whirlpool tub after a long day on the water. Two bedrooms have Pillowtop Queen beds and the other bedroom has Pillowtop Twin beds. There is satellite TV, a DVD player, and local phone is included. This house is immaculately maintained and ready to enjoy.

Why the Owner Chose Homosassa
We bought in Old Homosassa because it IS Old Florida. It is NOT Miami, Orlando or Tampa which is why we love it here!!!!!
Make sure to stop before the "end" of the road. Macraes has live music and food on the weekends. Great hangout place.
Great breakfast at a great price! The name says it all and thie place represents Homosassa well!!!
The BEST Cuban Sandwich around and a neat little bit of Old Homosassa history at it in is the printing house of the original local newspaper!!!!
The place to go to cool off in the summer or to see 100's of Manatees in the winter months.
One of the best attractions in Old Homosassa. Year round Manatees with tons of other animals also!!! Well worth the visit.
The best eatery in Homosassa! Huge Margaritas and great hospitality, Tommy and Sammy are the best....true Patriots!!!! Stop in around 7pm on a Friday or Saturday and join in on the salute to our Troops!!!

Love the place. So cozy. Felt just like home. The dogs loved the big back yard. We all enjoyed the fireplace every night just relaxing and taking it easy. Will most certainly come back!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My family and I had an incredible time. There's plenty of room for everyone to enjoy something different. The house was so clean and comfortable I could not have been happier. Personally we love the fire pit with lots of trees in the backyard and the walking distance to McRae's for boating and celebrating a great day on the water. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for renting us your house for Feburary and March 2006. It is very well equipped and comfortable. Mitzie (our dog) says thanks also for letting her come. We tried to leave it as we found it. If we get to come again, we will try to come here. Thanks again.
