This Romantic Beach Villa located in the new resort development Costa Baja (minutes from downtown, 20 minutes from the airport), is without question the finest beachfront rental available in La Paz. There is very little inventory of beachfront rental property in La Paz and this is one of seven Beachfront Villas in Costa Baja Resort that face the evening lights of el Ciudad La Paz. I am not allowed to put the link for Costa Baja Resort in this VRBO page due to VRBO link restrictions, but I highly recommend you research this incredible resort and all it offers. This property was recently chosen by the location manager for Sony pictures, after extensive research of the area and all rental options for the use of Adam Sandler and Robert Snyder during the production of "Don't mess with the Zohan". My condos were additionally chosen for the executive producers, validating the fact that I am offering the best quality rentals in La Paz, Mexico.
Located at a point in the Bay where the water becomes Aqua Blue and where the beaches become pristine you will find this paradise. Before the development of Marina Costa Baja this was the lover’s beach of La Paz. The Marina is world class and here you can charter anything from small fishing boats to luxury yachts.
The interior designer "Big Daddy 13X" did the unit in a romantic rustic theme with the majority of the furnishings manufactured in Guadalajara, Mexico. This is not your average Mexican vacation rental unit. The art throughout the Villa is in Rufino Tamayo probably one of the most important early Mexican impressionists. The cost of the design work was well in excess of six figures and many think I am nuts to rent it out. I have had other five star beach-front rentals and have found that people take care of nice things and thus I am willing to share my paradise when not in use by myself, family, and friends with mature couples only. If you are a family I recommend you look at my condos as they are much better suited.
The Villa is a two bedroom, two bath unit with an office, interior patio, exterior patio, and large second story rooftop patio. It is designed to accommodate two couples and entertain up to 8 very comfortably. The living room and master bedroom feature 50 inch and 42 inch plasma TV and Bose Sound. Both bedrooms feature king beds. All walls and floors are done in a stained concrete finish to accent the rustic feeling. The multiple sliding doors stack so that both interior and exterior patios are completely open to the living area and allow the ocean breeze to pass through. The rooftop patio is magical at night and a place one can relax with the stars in complete privacy.
Gourmet kitchen and outdoor gas BBQ make for entertaining ease or just jump into the provided golf cart to the Pueblo Marina to one of the six restaurants, Marina Bar, Beach Club Bar and shops. Located and land locked between a marina and the Governors Mansion with three very private and exclusive beaches (this is not very common in Mexico as the federal zone is 20 meters from high tide line) you can enjoy the beach avoiding the masses and walk beaches completely alone.
La Paz, B.C.S., Mexico has been around since the mid 16th century, but it has remained a quiet secret amongst people "in the know." The word is trickling out little by little as people keep falling in love with the city's white sandy beaches and relaxing atmosphere. It is an almost perfect mix of Old World Mexico and New World amenities situated on a large bay. La Paz has remained a traditional Mexican city and has hosted international visitors for almost a century. The beauty is it doesn't have at all a resort town feel like Cabo San Lucas.
This place is true paradise with so many options at your doorstep. La Paz offers world class diving and snorkeling as well as fishing and all water sports. "The Aquarium of the World" by Jacques Cousteau called is the Sea of Cortez one the richest waters on this planet. Ballandra and Tecolote Beaches are world class beaches and baja finest and a short 10 mile drive away. Sea of Cortez beaches have no rip tides so children and all can relax in the warm aqua blue waters 24/7.
John Steinbeck was so inspired by La Paz, the book "The Pearl" was written, and as he writes "the pearls were accidents, and finding one was luck." To visit La Paz and experience its beauty and charm is an inspirational experience that will leave you changed. The name La Paz says it all, "The Peace." |
