  The owner states that there are no other rentals of this caliber. He's correct. It is possibly the filthiest rental unit on Siesta. Windows & floors are disgusting. God only knows when the oven was last cleaned. Mold growing on the floor of the shower. Urine soaked paper towels stuck to the living room floor. Flat screen tv in every room. The problem is only one works. Of the five chairs to be used at the pool and kept in garage, none were useable because the fabric was torn, filthy and dry rotted. Broken smoke detector from forth floor found dismantled in garage. Dog feces found in master bedroom on arrival. Most of the lamps throughout were broken, not burned out, broken. Sofa bed on forth floor unusable. Heat & air conditioning vents look like they have never been cleaned. Repeated attempts to reach the owner and his representative were ignored. There is not a soul on earth that I dislike enough to recommend this pigsty to. The owner must be living in a shoe if he thinks this place is anything but disgusting. I was stuck there for four weeks and the owner had my money and refused to offer any compensation. Believe me, you can't imagine what a nightmare those 28 days were. Actually, it wasn't the full 28 days I paid for, because I couldn't stand the filth and left the place early. I should have smelled a rat when the last positive review was aver two years old.

  Owner response: We try to accommodate and please all our guests, but there was nothing to be done here. This was the coldest March on record and this guest was unsatisfied with the lack of warm beach days. Unfortunately we do not control the weather. I said we would not offer a refund since he stayed the duration of the rental and we advise guests to purchase trip insurance if they are concerned about weather. He then threatened to write a nasty review and did so. As for all nonsense he wrote take the video tour and see for yourself. This home is absolutely beautiful second only to the amazing view. We have had several guests stay since he left and I hope they will leave an honest review of the home.

  This house is exactly as described. It is across the street from the beach and a few blocks from the Village. There is a shared pool, but we didn't use it much, preferred to spend time at the ocean. Many good restaurants in the Village and some shops. It is a drive to the nearest grocery store. The elevator came in handy for moving suit cases, groveries and coolers from the garage. The Village is a great place to find great seafood. Check out theDaiquiri Deck and the Baja Grill, good places to eat. Of course the beach is the main reason to visit!

  Perfectly located on beach with fun restaurants nearby. The 3rd floor balcony, however had such a great view that we preferred spending our nights there with a beer or four. The entire house was immaculate, and had all the necessities plus some. I'll be booking here every year if they are available!

  We spent two weeks in this lovely home with my 86 year old parents. Could not have done it without the elevator. My folks loved sitting on the balcony and going to the top floor for sunset. The two bedrooms are so pretty with comfortable king sized beds and one bathroom is prettier than the next. Our only complaints were that the heater was not working on the pool and it was too cold to swim without it so we never got to use the pool. The pull out sofas were not very comfortable so we used air mattresses instead. The main floor is wide open through the kitchen, dining room and living room and we had some great times, cooking, playing cards and having our family all together. Kitchen well equipped with a nice grill on the balcony. It was a great vacation in a great house.

  Owner response: I deeply apologize for the damage to the pool heater. I can imagine the frustration this issue caused. The heater went out on my other house and it took hours to repair. This is causing a major issue for us and in the future if you book with us, we will offer a suitable discount for all of your troubles. Again, I am so so sorry and it has still been on my mind because I feel like it is affecting peoples vacations. I am very glad you had a good time otherwise. Thank you for the review, Megan

  I have nothing but great things to say about this vacation home, but will try to keep it short. First and foremost it feels so comfortable and welcoming. So fully stocked with everything you could want or need -plenty of bath and beach towles, beach and pool toys, all necessities in the kitchen and laundry. Even Ziploc bags and chip clips, which are never to be found in a rental home. But most importantly the view from the home and the beach. The view is so amazing in every direction! And when you get to the beach and turn to the right it is the most quiet and serene spot we have found on a beach vaction in many years! The walk into town was so convenient! We spent the majority of our time at the beach, in the pool, and on the fourth floor enjoying lots of family time together!! The only two very minor drawbacks were having to share the pool and the walk to the beach was a bit long. But, having said that we only encountered one problem with sharing the pool and it was addressed ASAP. Just would be nice to know you didn't have to share. Also we learned to appreciate the walk back and forth to the beach because: it was so quiet and nice, upon return to the house from the beach it was great to be able to jump in the pool, and it was evidence that the locals are concerned about preserving their beaches!!! The steps in the home made for a great work-out, but the elevator came in very handy. We used it for luggage, groceries, and taking meals up to the fourth floor. Overall we absolutely loved our vacation in this home and will certainly return again, hopefully very soon and for a longer time frame. Special thanks to Megan, you were great!   We stayed there 3 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed everything it offered. It is close to Siesta Key Village and has a great view off the top balcony. Each room is large and extremely well equipped. We felt very at home with all aspects of the rental. It was clean and upkept perfectly. It even has a full serve office with computer, high-speed internet and printer. We are staying there for our 2011 spring break!

  Great location! Loads of room! Well appointed accomodations! This house has everything you need for a great vacation! I would highly recommend this house if looking for a great rental with lots to offer on Siesta Key! You won't be disappointed!

  We have stayed at this house twice. We loved it. It was over spring break both times. The house is very big and well stocked. The kitchen has just about anything you need and there are plenty of towels. The garage has toys, chairs, and lots of room. The view is beautiful and the house is very close to the beach and the villiage. The price is very reasonable for what you get. The only thing that would be nice is to have the pool closer. You have to go out the front door and around the back of the house to get to the pool area. It is a nice pool area.
