We stayed in in mid October for a week. Really great home with a nice private and quiet location. Large comfortable and well equipped. Big outdoor deck with southern exposure provides great views from sunrise to sunset. Centrally located on the cape for easy day trips, close to town and restaurants. Nice owners who are very helpful.

Great House + Great Location = Great Vacation!!

This was the third year that we rented in Chatham and this house was the best by far. Great location - we were able to bike to town every day and on a private cul-de-sac so all of the kids could play outside. Great views from the deck. Spacious home and incredible layout-perfect for two families and we loved the open feel of the main floor. The kitchen/dining room/family room worked great for all of us to hang out/cook/watch tv (and the owners just bought an awesome tv so the kids loved it!). The bedrooms worked out great for a family of 4 and a family of 5. The house is incredibly well - maintained and the owners made sure that we found everything. It is very clean, plenty of sheets and towels and the owners were very happy to answer all of our questions and gave great advice. It was a memorable vacation and we all miss the house. We hope to return to this house in 2009!

We have been renting on the Cape for over 20 years and this is the best home we have ever rented. Clean, private and spacious.

The Best!

We rented the home for 9 days in June 2007, to provide an extended family vacation while I was at a 5-day conference at Chatham Bars Inn. At various times, there were 8 adults and 3 young (ages 8, 5 and 3) family members. The house was superlative in all respects. In my many (more than you'd want to know) years of renting vacation homes, this home was absolutely The Best. It's hard to imagine the care that the owners put into keeping the interior in such immaculate shape, and providing top-of-the-line appliances, kitchen equipment, furniture, bedding and towels. The yard was great for the kids, and since the house in on a cul-de-sac with virtually no traffic, it was perfect for bike riding. All in all, a perfect spot. We brought 8 bikes (4 cars, coming from difference directions), and the location of this home provided a great central place from which to explore the outer Cape. Great local fish available at local fish markets resulted in great dinners at home. Decent (if not great) restaurants fairly close for a little variety. A good Stop and Shop super market not too far away. Afternoon biking/swimming trips to the Cape Cod National Seashore, easy auto side trips to Provincetown and Wellfleet, a variety of local beachs enjoyed by the kids, and just hanging around the house enjoying each other made for a perfect time.

Fantastic house, great location

My wife and I rented this house along with three other couples (and our newborn son) when we were in town for a wedding. The house was spacious enough to house all of us comfortably and privately yet provided enough common living space that we could all hang out together when we wanted. Most of our time was spent on the deck enjoying the great views of the water. The neighborhood is very quiet and the surrounding houses are all incredible. The pictures and descriptions of the house are 100% accurate and the owner was a pleasure to rent from. We felt lucky to find such a great spot.

We rented this house to bring my parents to the Cape. The first floor MBR was a big plus for them. The location was perfect; quiet, beautiful views, but close to what Chatham has to offer. When it rained, we all felt at home at this property. Very well appointed, yet not overly formal. Enough room so that everyone could have a sense of privacy.

Fond Memories

I rented this house for the week of my son's wedding. We had the best time there. The location was excellent, with warm water swimming at a free, kid friendly beach with parking about a 6 minute drive away. The house was very well equipped, cool in hot weather, with an out door shower and an half bath downstairs plus 3 additional bathrooms. All my family who stayed there loved it, so did my younger son's girl friend, who is hard to please, from Beverly Hills. There is a spa very near by for the special wedding massages or manicures, and good restaurants. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. They made what could have been a stressful time more relaxed. We had a ball.

If you are looking for a classy, cozy home at the end of a cul-de-sac with a great yard, a deck with beautiful views across a marsh, and located in a quiet neighborhood, this is the perfect choice. My siblings and I planned a small family reunion in Chatham for my father’s 75th birthday in May 2006, and we made a special trip down to Chatham (from the North Shore) to look at five homes. This house was head and heels above everything else we saw…and it was very competitively priced. My folks are typically very picky, especially when it comes to staying in a rental home. There were no disappointments from them, and that never happens! The house is bright and airy, exceedingly well-maintained, and amply and comfortably furnished with all the accoutrements you could ever need. We felt like we were staying in a close friend’s “home sweet home” while they went off to Europe, versus renting a characterless house from a faceless agent! We particularly liked the kitchen-dining room-lounge open floor plan which spans the entire length of the house. The deck overlooking the marsh around Oyster Pond was just perfect with Adirondack chairs and recliners; we had our breakfast out there as well as five-o’clock cocktails and appetizers! The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for my family and my brother’s family (four young kids aged 2-6 in all), while my folks enjoyed the oasis of their master bedroom and bath downstairs – away from all the bedlam! The two-bay garage was perfect for storing our beach stuff, bikes, etc. The kids rode their bikes and scooters around the cu-de-sac and in the neighborhood, and we played croquet on the lawn (when not watching the hawks flying over the marsh or rabbits traipsing across the lawn). The owner takes great pride in maintaining this house and in fastidiously prepping it for guests. She was available by phone and email at a moment’s notice to make sure we had what we needed. She gave us restaurant tips, and referred us to some of the special spots in the area (given that she grew up there).I recommend this home unconditionally, and should my family want to return to the Cape for another family reunion, we already know where we’ll stay. As her house (inevitably) becomes more popular and more frequently rented (I believe she has just recently begun to rent it), I hope the owner can keep up the standards I describe here. The combination of quality and value very favorably distinguishes the house fro

What a great location and a classic home for a perfect Cape Cod family vacation! My favorite part of the vacation was sitting on the deck and enjoying the peace and tranquility of the wonderful view. The house itself is in top shape and is more than large enough to handle a big family. It is a perfect place to enjoy the best that Cape Cod has to offer!

What a wonderful place to spend time for rest and relaxation. We were fortunate to enjoy the amenities of the home, as a gift to my parents for their 50th Wedding anniversary. The surrounding areas were awesome and quite different from our midwest background. The highlight of the whole experience for me, was the welcome feeling we had from day one in dealing with the ownership. The home is beautiful and from the moment you walk in you will feel "at home". High marks from the Oklahoma brigade.. Enjoy your stay, make this the one you remember forever.

Thanks so much! The boys loved the house! We played at the great town playground and had Pizza at Carmine's. Can't wait until August. You were right, (Chatham) is as nice as Nantucket, but offers more and is easier to get to.
