Take a wildlife walk right from our doorstep up aptly named Game Creek and be prepared for lots of encounters. Or launch off from our doorstep on an epic hike through the Jeddediah Smith Wilderness and into Grand Teton National Park. With your morning coffee in hand, be sure to check the ridge opposite the Lodge for moose, elk or deer, using the spotting scope on the stairwell. Don't be surprised, however, if you see a "visitor" behind the Lodge! World class fishing spots are too numerous to mention, and golfing opportunities abound.
Quaint Victor, Idaho is three miles away, and provides a high-quality fish market and grocery, espresso and malt shops, a first-rate supper club, and a great video store. Jackson Hole is 20 minutes away and offers an almost overwhelming array of activities. Yellowstone is less than two hours away via the South or West gate.
On winter mornings call the snow report and choose between the endless steeps and glades of Jackson Hole, and the world famous powder of Grand Targhee resort. Or zip up Teton pass to access some of the best back-country skiing in the world.
