We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to stay at this condo. The furnishings and decor are nice quality and very tasteful. The kitchen is also sleek, modern, and comfortable to cook in. My daughter loved the bunk beds and having the two bathrooms definitely came in handy! The balcony and view was wonderful; it was nice to just sit out there, take in the views, and relax. The pool was great, it was clean and never too crowded! Also, the walk to the beach was nice and not too far. Lastly, we really enjoyed the restaurant in the condo. They have a good menu, gourmet coffee, bar and offer delivery (which we took advantage of when we just didn't want to get out) and also ice cream you can get on your way to take a stroll on the beach. We had a very nice time and plan to come back again! Thank you!

This was our first visit to Destin, and we were thrilled with the condo and it's perfect location! We have 2 young sons and they were just as excited about the built-in bunk beds as they were about the beach! The beds were comfortable, and it was really nice to have 2 bathrooms w/ all the showering going on from visits to the beach! We were very convenient to a really nice beach and to local shops and restaurants. We loved having all the vacation tips about places to dine listed in the welcome packet. The kitchen was super nice, and well stocked with everything we needed to make some meals right in the condo...we just needed to hit the grocery store for food! We utilized the balcony every evening to people watch and listen to the waves. We will definitely be back to this condo on our next visit to Destin! The experience was great! It started with the reservation which was professionally handled, including the detailed written instructions for check-in and use of the unit. When we got there, we walked into an immaculately decorated unit and the view took our collective breaths away. For the entire week we were there, we had absolutely no complaints. Unit 2006 is truly all that it is described to be and then some. My son and I enjoyed staying in this unit very much! Thanks Andrea!!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Destin while staying at Ariel Dunes unit #2006. The listing matched what we found when we arrived. It was clean and wonderfully decorated. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions we had about the property and oil spill concerns. We did not encounter any problems with oil while visiting in June. We had some trouble with the seaweed, but it would come and go. Overall, we felt we had a sufficient amount of time at the beach. The pool is wonderful and was not overcrowded. We have a 4 year old and and 1 year old and they loved the pool, because it had a shoreline effect on it. There is alot of shopping and places to eat too. My mom came along as the "nanny/grandma", so my husband and I were able to visit Destin and Seaside. We would definitely recommend the property. You'll love the view!

MY WIFE AND I FOUND THAT THE PROPERTY WAS MORE THAN WE HAD EXPECTED, IT WAS CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED, THE PIC'S OF THE PROPERTY ARE ACCURATE, IT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. HAVING BOOKED THE CONDO IN JANUARY AND LOOKING FORWARD TO A BEACH VACATION ALL YEAR WE HAD DECIDED THAT "OIL OR NO OIL" WE WERE GOING TO DESTIN AND WE WERE GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. THERE WAS NO OIL, NO OIL SHEEN, NO TAR BALLS, NO OIL SMELL, NO OIL ANYTHING WHILE WE WERE THERE JUNE 5TH-12TH, (A WORD OF WARNING, DO NOT MENTION OIL TO ANY OF THE LOCALS, YOU MAY HEAR MORE THAN YOU WANT) ONCE AGAIN THE CONDO WAS GREAT, THE PROPERTIES AT SEASCAPE WERE VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY AND WE ALWAYS FELT SECURE.

great little condo

My wife and I stayed here this past week for our honeymoon. First, the bad: My only complaints were the fact that the internet didn't really work (the code worked but Cox security tried to install an add-on on our computer, and that didn't work right so we couldn't really use the internet), but this small problem was solved by simply using the seascape and surfside networks, though they weren't nearly as good. Also, the ceiling fan above the master bed made a terrible creaking sound after about an hour of use, which lasted the rest of the trip (though we discovered that if you keep the A/C running, the fan doesn't creak as badly. Strange, huh?) The rest of the experience was great. The condo looked great, the amenities were fabulous (my wife especially loved the stainless steel kitchen package). The view from the balcony was beautiful (and also helpful, when trying to determine how crowded the beach / pools are, haha). The condo was very clean and well-kept. We enjoyed our breakfasts and lunches on the balcony, and sipping on champagne mixers at night with the balcony doors open. It was very romantic. The building (Ariel Dunes I) itself was relatively nice; the pools were nice and never over overly-crowded, the staff was kind, and there was usually plenty of parking. We never went to the Cabana Cafe so I couldn't tell you if it is actually worth the money or not. To summarize, we had a great time while in the Destin area and staying at this condo was ideal for us. In spite of the internet and ceiling fan blips, this condo is perfect for a couple looking to get away on vacation, relax, and have a great time doing it.

Just wanted to take a quick moment to give Andrea some 5-star feedback on how perfect it was renting their very nicely decorated condo in Destin. She was very helpful all the way through the process from our initial inquiry to the very end when we unfortunately had to check-out the following Saturday. The condo is really really nice and I think very affordable for most people. We brought our two little ones and they loved the buiilt in bunk beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to include daquiri glasses, yeahhhh. Also, the area at Ariel Dunes is really awesome. Lots to do and the condo amenities were perfect especially the restaurant on the ground floor. All in all, kudos Andrea and thanks. You will hear from us again.

My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. We couldn't have made a better choice than choosing to stay here for our Destin getaway. The communication from the owners is fantastic. They are very organized and helpful. They were always willing to work with us in every aspect if at all possible. The location is unbeatable--close to absolutely anything you need while on vacation. The view from the balcony is incredible! One of the best available in the whole area. The property was very clean and well maintained. The furniture was classy and modern. My wife loved that! We will be staying here, for sure, in our future trips to Destin.

This is our second stay in this Condo, Ariel Dunes I #2006. Just like last year, the unit was perfect. Andrea and Steven are wonderful to work with, and the Welcome Packet they email is great, every bit of information you'll need-key codes, instructions, directions, even some tips on golf, restaurants, and local fresh seafood. All "pro", no negatives. We'll rent from them again, and highly recommend them.

My husband, 3 yr. old daughter, and I just stayed in this condo last week and we loved it!!! Everything was just as nice and clean looking as it is when you look at the pictures... something I actually didn't expect! It smelled really good when we walked in. The view from the balcony is awesome!!! Another positive: the unit is located really close to the elevator... so you never have to walk very far to get to it. Since there are two different elevators, you are only approximately 10 steps away from either one! We also never heard much noise from any other renters, even being close to the elevators. Our daughter loved the bunk beds! We chose to use the safety rail (stored in the bathroom closet), and it was very easy to do. We liked the fact that we could use the washer and dryer and not have to pack loads of dirty laundry home with us. You do have to supply your own detergent... so don't forget that! We would definitely stay in this condo again. It was so nice! Miramar Beach is only approximately 3 miles from the Destin city limits...so, not very far at all! There is a Walmart and Target nearby in Destin, plenty of shopping places in the Silver Sands Outlet mall, tons of things to do!!! We really enjoyed the Gulfarium and the Sea Blaster dolphin cruise (the website for Sea Blaster wasn't updated, so you may want to check it out once you get there). We loved the atmosphere at The Back Porch restaurant. If you're like us, you may not be that into seafood... Longhorn Steakhouse was delicious!!! We actually went there on my birthday and got their specialty ribeye steak-- best steak I've had in a long time!!! And call us crazy, but Golden Corral was one of our favorite places to eat! HaHa! There is so much to choose from and the price is so affordable, and our daughter ate for free!!! Hope this helps you somewhat!!! We can hardly wait till we get to go back next year!!!

A perfect week in a perfect place. Everything about this experience was excellent; Andrea could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Great tips on restaurants and local attractions. We had a great stay! The property is very nice! The only issue we encountered is with storage space. Coming so far away, we had a lot of luggage, beach equipment, etc. There was only one closet and it was relatively full. Also, we had trouble drying our wet clothing due to the balcony restrictions. I recommend the owners hang some additional hooks near the door, on back of bathroom doors, etc., just to make things a little more user friendly. However, overall we enjoyed the property and would definately consider staying there again.

Steve and Andrea: Loved your condo! The view we had from the 20th floor balcony was fabulous--on both the bay and the gulf sides!!! The unit was very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in on vacation. So glad you splurged on a good, comfortable mattress. ;) Thanks so much for the hospitable way you treated us throughout the whole booking and closing out process--so professional and trustworthy. We had a great time, the condo was very nice. I was very happy with the mattress in the master bedroom, no back aches!! The kids loved the bunk beds! (They even had the detachable side rails for safety.) The view of the beach was wonderful, the view of the bay on the other side was just the cherry on top! We would stay again, Andrea made everything very easy. Over all I give the experience an "A"!!!

Andrea & Steve, Wow! We had an incredible vacation staying at your 1BR condo at Ariel Dunes. Absolutely phenomenal views and you guys definitely didn't go cheap in furnishing your place. Our kids loved the fountains at the pool and we even got a chance to swim with some sea turtles right outside Ariel Dunes. Anyway, great job and thanks so much for everything. Sarah Hodges

Our stay was everything we expected and more and working with Andrea & Steve (owners) throughout the whole process was simple, professional, and painless. The unit is top-notch! Starting with the furnishings...they are high quality and not the cookie cutter "Rooms to Go" furnishings. The kitchen amentities even had measuring cups which we needed during the baking of my daughter's 5th birthday cake. Yes, even little girls that age want to have a special vacation for their birthdays...so do Mommys. The views are incredible and we took advantage of watching them all week. I was a bit concerned about being up on the 20th floor but not any more. The views up there make staying down below less than adequate. A special note to the door locks...we loved them. Not having to deal with keys or swipe cards was perfect and all owners should look into offering this service. The pools were exceptionally beautiful so kudos to Ariel Dunes for that piece. The sands and ocean in Destin are absolutely the finest anywhere we have ever been to include Maui. Nothing quite compares to the fine white sand of Destin. Overall, 5-stars while staying in this perfect 1BR unit and great job to Andrea & Steve...we will be back!
