We absolutely loved this place! We slept 10 comfortably and were very pleased with the fully stocked kitchen. The views were breathtaking! The unit was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything but just outside of the heavy traffic areas. We will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was for my 50th Birthday get-a-way with a few of my close girfriends. A little dissapointed that it is truly a 3 bedroom not 4. Oh, there are rolling cots & pull out sofa's to accommodate plenty of people but, being a Realtor by profession it truly is a 3bedroom. Originally it was 8 of us going and in the end it ended up with only 4 people so the lack of a bedroom was not an issue and it worked out okay. We ALL had a wonderful time, beautiful views from the 3 decks...especially from the Master Bedroom level (3rd floor). Home was equipped with just about everything we needed except food & a chef to cook it :-) One recommenadation we have is there wasn't a place for us to place any music CD's while we where relaxing on the deck or cooking in the kitchen. All-in-all we had an wonderful time with good friends, great weather and this is EXACTLY what the doctor ordered...Thank you Brenda for allowing us to stay in your home I sooooo would like to return sometime!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This house is perfect for families with little kids. The fact that you just have to walk out the back door to your own private beach is priceless! There was no need for us to lug tons of stuff to the beach because we were just steps away from our house. It's in a great location and within walking distance to a couple of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a WONDERFUL time we had during our recent stay at your beautiful home! We arrived late on Saturday in the middle of rain after an extremely long, and sometimes frustrating, day of travel. However, when we walked into your home, we were immediately struck by how welcoming the decor was and, when we went straight out to the main level deck, we discovered why we came. I could not believe how close the beach and the water were to the townhouse! The next morning, when we could see everything in the daylight, we were truly amazed! We have vacationed in Destin several times but this trip was by far the best ever! The accommodations were great - very relaxing with plenty of room for everyone. But the most enjoyable parts of the trip were the decks, the closeness of the water, and sharing all of this with my family. My mother-in-law has limited mobility and she was able to actually walk the short distance to the beach and sit in a chair right by the water. My grandchildren loved being able to walk directly out of the townhouse and play in the sand, hunt for seashells, or chase the waves. The lower deck was great for relaxing and grilling and the outside showers were wonderful. My youngest grandson, who is 2, loved the outside showers almost as much as the beach itself! Watching the sunrise and sunset from the decks was truly watching God paint the sky for us each day. A couple of mornings, we even enjoyed watching the dolphins play close by. And, of course, I can't leave out feeding the seagulls and flying kites with the kids on the beach! There are way too many things to list about how great this trip was. I want to thank you again for sharing your home with my family and allowing us the opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime. We are truly grateful!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this unit in early Nov. 08. It was wonderful...we have 2 children, 4yrs and 11mos. Our main goal in finding a rental was to be "on the sand" for ease of transporting the kids and their stuff, it was perfect perfect perfect for that and very baby friendly. The covered deck on the sand level was great for lunches, out of the sun, with kids without having to "clean up" to come inside... allowing us to enjoy the beach for the entire day. We didn't even have to get into the car, but walked to kid friendly Capt Daves and The Crap Trap for great dinners. Definitely will be back, definitely recommend.Did you find this review helpful? We have been going to Destin since 1968 and as you can image have stayed in many many places. We found the Green Reef Townhouses several years ago and have stayed in several, but the absolute best ones and the best staff are the ones that Brenda offers. Her townhouses are exceptionally stocked, furnished, and clean. The attention she gives you before, during, and after is unrivaled. Her staff is extremely honest (we left a valuable item on our last visit, assumed we would never see it again) she contacted us to tell us her cleaning staff had found it and it was returned. I know this sounds like a paid commercial, but believe me it is not. We will be staying in her units for many years to come. You can't beat the location, the beauty of units, or the great access to the beach (only 40 yds. from your three levels of decks. J. Lynn MilnerDid you find this review helpful? Loved our stay at Green Reef townhome. It is truly on the beach. Very convenient if you have teens that come and go. Great soft clean sand and beautiful views. Close to resturants and grocery. The townhouse was very clean and nicely decorated. No problems with the owners. Very hospitable and honest. Made for a nice vacation. Rhea Ruggles, Arkadelphia, ARDid you find this review helpful? What a lovely home on the beach! Destin has been our vacation destination since 1990. This May was our 1st stay at Green Reef. We came here because our previous accommodations were sold. We could not have been more pleased with our surroundings in this townhome nor felt more at home. As the information indicates, you are directly on the beach with vast views of the emerald coast from 3 different deck levels. There is lots of room to sun and play or lounge in the shade of the decks, take long walks or swim in the surf, and best of all, it is just one step off the stairs right onto the white, powder sugar sand! All of the furniture (inside and out) is remarkably comfortable including great pillows as well as a fully stocked kitchen as to dishes, glasses, utensils and appliances which made for an easy opportunity to have great meals prepared at home if you are inclined to cook. The local seafood markets are very assessible with great fresh catches. We lacked for nothing. There are plenty of dining out opportunities in close proximity as well. We would definitely return, especially to this particular unit. It was absolutely perfect and we are grateful to the owners for sharing such a fantastic beach front property with us! The neighbors next door were great too! And Brenda's capable and smooth handling of all of the arrangements made it hassle free. This is ocean front at its best!Did you find this review helpful? Why the Owner Chose Green Reef:
We are pleased that you are considering our home on the beach for your vacation. We hope you’ll make many wonderful and treasured memories from your stay at Green Reef and come back again and again.
Our Story
About 25 years ago we started coming to Green Reef, it was love at first site! Walking along the shore we promised ourselves that one day we would own a townhouse in Green Reef. We have looked at property from Panama City to Pensacola, never finding anything quite like our beloved Green Reef. Then in March 2004 we got a call from our realtor that a townhouse in Green Reef had come onto the market.
We drove down on a Saturday and had an offer in on Monday. Our dream became a reality on April 30, 2004.
We have gone to great lengths to try to make our home comfortable and inviting, personally selecting each item. We want you to enjoy your stay and have a great time. We also hope you’ll treat our home with the same respect and care that you would your own or a best friend’s home.
We know that accidents can happen and if you have a “mishap” please let our house manager know so that we can take care of any problems. We would much prefer to bring in the maids to clean up a spill; or the handyman in to fix or replace something broken than let it go for our next guests to find and become unhappy about. Thank you in advance for taking care of our home.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:

If antiquing is high on your list, you’ll love browsing through Smith Antiques, west of the Silver Sands Mall on US Highway 98 or Antiques on Holiday.Kathleen’s Kottage is a bit of a drive out US Highway 331, just before the bridge.
For the kid’s, Big Kahuna’s seems to be a favorite. You’ll find numerous boat charters listed in the yellow pages.
