  • Fawn Lake was a perfect base for our week-long vacation. We brought our canoe and found Fawn always calm enough to enjoy paddling and fishing with a 5 year-old on board. When the weather was nice we ventured to the bigger lakes: Big Spider, North, and even Little Spider. We saw a ton of wildlife including: eagles, deer, beaver, a bear (from a safe distance), wild turkey, LOONS, painted turtles, and plenty of fish. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We dined each morning and night on the screened-in porch and watched a great night thunderstorm from there. The cabin is very well cared for and everything was clean and ready for our arrival. We hope to return to the Mohawk next year!

  • Condo is located in a very nice wooded area with easy access to road. Quiet setting with lots of wildlife to observe (deer, coyote). Very close to the Hayward ski trail system. Due to our winter stay, we didn't use the screened-in porch but the view from the porch is awesome!!! Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home and more (satellite tv)! The fireplace was a real plus due to the cold winter night.

  • Wow it was awesome! This is the first time for us on this service and we were really nervious about renting like this but it couldn't have been a better experience! The cabin was great, the pictures don't come close to showing it. Loved the beach, porch, the whole setting. Thanks again! We will call again!

  • Absolutely wonderful!! Peaceful and quiet, clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the beach and the lake and they had plenty of room to play and have a good time outdoors. We all enjoyed campfires in the evenings. We had a fabulous time and will definitely go again. Special thanks to the owner of the Mohawk for accomodating our special request.
