The resort has a mid-island location that offers more privacy, with no large resorts nearby. Located on the 18 mile drive-on beach, near Padre Island National Seashore. Near two golf courses: Arnold Palmer design Newport Dunes Golf Club, and Padre Isles Country Club.
You can drive to either Port Aransas or Corpus Christi in about ten minutes. 9 miles to Port Aransas where you can enjoy fine dining, world-class fishing, bird or dolphin-watch cruises, bicycle and kayak rentals, Marine Science Institute, and Birding Center (Port Aransas is 2011 "Birdiest Small Coastal City.") 10 miles to Corpus Christi, largest city on the Texas coast, with shopping malls, restaurants, scenic Ocean Drive, museums, Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington, botanical garden, and Funtrackers.

Why the Owner Chose Mayan Princess
We like beach vacations. While on vacation, we looked at beach resorts in California, Carolinas, and Florida. In 2005 we visited "The Island." Of all the beaches that we have seen, this is the nicest. It has miles of open beach with no buildings, just you and the ocean waves. We love to drive on a beach that seems endless. "The Island" makes us feel happy and relaxed.
Our resort is the most beautiful place on this lovely island. It's in a quiet area, away from the crowds. Often you have the whole beach to yourself! We hope that you will enjoy our dream condo on the beach!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Walk out the door, and you are on the beach in seconds. The lagoon pools are fantastic. The tropical gardens and palm trees are lovely. The condo is roomy, with a complete kitchen and washer/dryer. We enjoy the king bed and romantic Jacuzzi for two. It's a fun place for a family vacation, or a romantic weekend.
From our resort it's a 10 minute drive to the city. We like to visit antique stores in Corpus Christi. We also like the cute Island shops, restaurants, Botanical Garden, fishing and dolphin-watch cruises. There's just never enough time for all there is to do!

Mary loves the beach! She grew up near lakes in Michigan and Canada. During cold winters at our Michigan home, we day-dream about “The Island,” (local name for Mustang / Padre Island). We love to vacation at our beach condo. We take long walks on the warm sunny beach and collect shells. After we retire, we plan to live all winter at the beach!

What a wonderful place to call home for a week. We were "at home" from the 1st night. Wonderful weather, golf + activities. Everyone very friendly, + staff helpful. Great to have a washer + dryer... So beautiful + we will return. Thank you for sharing!

My husband surprised me with a weekend get-away, and we came down from New Braunfels for some bay fishing. We had a great time...I caught my first fish...a nice speckled trout. This condo is decorated so cute. ...Thanks!

My husband & I planned a weekend get-a-way and the condo was perfect! This is our 2nd time in Port A and we will definately return... Although the weather was a bit chilli we still were able to walk the beach, at night. What a treat!

Hi, we are the Swanson's from TN and this was our first time down here. We loved it! The condo is nice with great views and a very welcoming feeling. ...I loved that the beach is practically outside our door! If you want to ride horses, we went south about 15 mins and they were wonderful. My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. Thank you.

Mary and Alex, We love your place. Very comfortable. Love the jacuzzi! We've stayed at lots of other condos - this one is our favorite. Just celebrated our 32yr anniversary here! Rode our bicycles into town, walked the beach, shopped in town, ate ice cream....Love it here - will be back soon!

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. You have it set up so beautifully with everything we could possibly need. My children really enjoyed the pools, beach + the bunkbeds! It felt like we were the only people at the complex, so relaxing. ...We've been to Port A + NPI many times, but never stayed here before. I think we've found a favorite spot.
