The house is in excellent condition and met all our needs within the bedrooms, playrooms and kitchen. The ski area is about 1 to 2 minutes from the house and lake and my grand children learned how to ski and snow board. My wife and I were very relaxed because all rooms were very clean and the furniture seemed brand new. We're thinking about a return visit next year. Truly the best house we have ever rented in the Poconos and we're been renting houses in the Poconos for over thirty years. Thanks.

The house was beautiful!! The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was big and spacious, stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are so comfy and the master bath is amazing. Did not feel like a rental home. We had one rainy day which could have been a disaster, but it didn't even matter; the house provided so much entertainment no one even cared. We had a large family group with kids and adults of all ages and there was something for everyone. Two game rooms with ping pong, pool table, a closet full of board games ect. A private hot tub to relax in after a long day on the slopes. The location was so convenient, couldnt get much closer to the slopes unless you were staying in the parking lot. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, lots of communication. So many great memories made, can't wait for next year.

We looked at hundreds of possible locations for our late summer holiday and picked this one for it's multiple level accomodations and the many game options for the kids. It was definitely the right choice. Our first 2 days were during Hurricane Irene and even with the cable out for several hours, the children had so much fun playing, pool, ping pong, video games, etc., and were never bored. The furnishings are very nice and everyone loved their beds, sooo comfortable. There are more items than listed in the description, particularly in the kitchen. We left some spices, flour, and glasses behind for others, just as others ahead of us had. We are TV people and 10 TV's were all used and appreciated. We noticed this home is the only one in the area with a great view, which we enjoyed regularly. We hit Tannersville 3 times, the Pocono Raceway for an Irene relief fundraiser, horse back riding at Deer Path Stables (great with the kids as first time riders, very reasonably priced too), and hiked the paths of Bushkill Falls, which was exhausting but awesome. The pool and beach area in Big Boulder community, were very nice, clean, heated to a lovely warm temp., no complaint here at all. We have been described as 'too picky' by some friends, as we have almost always changed rooms or even hotels at resorts because we wanted better than standard. We would recommend this home and location to others, as well as return ourselves to enjoy it again.

This house has everything you could want. Plenty of room for three families with little children ages 1 to 4. There were games and toys for the kids. The house is very clean, and there was little things like plenty of soap, toilet paper, and tissue in all the bathrooms. It was these little things that easily made all of us feel at home for the week. The house is in such a great location. Some of us came to Ski, but we all went to the indoor water park that was just minutes away. Everything was so close to the house we never really had to go very far. The owners were also very helpful, before and during our stay. We will all probably make a trip and come back to the house next year.

This was the second year in a row we spent the long MLK weekend at this house, and it was just as good as we remembered! Not having to worry about linens is AWESOME. The house is very nice and well-equipped, but also comfortable and well laid out. Kids and adults alike in our group love being here - it has everything we need and the location is fantastic. This review is long overdue but a glowing review for this house is well deserved. The pictures really do not do it justice. The house is beautifully kept. They really have thought of everything to ensure the comfort of the guests (including toys for a 3 year old!). The only complaint any of us had was that there wasn't enough time to enjoy ourselves. The Perfect Family Rental

When my family and I first walked in the door, my first reaction was "it is so peaceful here." The house is in immaculate condition and has absolutely everything you need to feel right at home. From board games to waffle makers, this house has everything. It really is a terrific "home away from home". There is something for everyone to do. My girls loved the snow cones, game rooms, the internet ready computer. My parents stayed one night and couldn't believe how gorgeous the house was. There is plenty of room for everyone. Dealing with the owners was a simple task and we were provided with tons of information. We will definitely be renting this home again. This house is truly a treasure!

This is the second time we've rented this property, both times in the summer. Each time we've rented was with different sides of the family, each having lots of kids. Everyone (on both sides) agreed it is one of the best places we've ever rented. The owners truly strive to think of everything you might need while staying. The house is very clean, and in excellent condition. We rent in this area frequently, and have yet to find a more "stocked" kitchen. We used everything... the grill, game rooms, snow cone machine, hot tub. It is a great house for a large group. We never felt on top of each other. Additionally, you are close to many attractions... beaches, hiking, water parks, outlets. The owners and property manager are extremely organized and considerate. It was an absolute pleasure working with them. My whole family intends to return... Now I need to plan a getaway with friends here! If you're renting in this area, don't think twice. This is the house for you!

This is the 2nd year we have brought the entire family up to the poconos... What a GREAT place for making memories. Christmas is a time for family and this home by far meets all of our expectations. We were told a few years ago to make memories.. not presents.... so this is the 2nd of memories my children and grandchildren will never forget. Once the children go up and go out on their own they never spend a lengthy time together.. without getting on each other nerves. This house meets all our needs... the first doay was a rain washout... the board games and chips occupied everyone. The second and third came and the skiing was the greatest...10 out on slopes and the togetherness was priceless. This home is big enough for being together or separate... game room kept all of us busy. We have stayed in many rented homes and this by far beats all... EVERYTHING you need is there. God blessed us and our family... with the BEST memories for the Christmas Holiday. It tells a lot when you return to the same home and WE WILL...

We spent two nights and had a fantastic time. The house has a wonderful view of the Lake and the ski mountain. It's kept immaculate as well. The owners have really tried to think of the little details that would make anyone feel at home. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, the large kitchen, the wireless internet, the pool table, the shuffleboard, the multi-head shower, and on and on.... If you've been searching for a great place to stay in the poconos, you can end your search here. No question. 4 couples had plenty of room with an extra bedroom to spare! We'll be back!

I agree with Kathleen from NC, I would love this place to remain a secret! A group of friends got together here over a long weekend and fell in love with the place. WOW! What a great vacation week (Aug. 2008) my extended family had in this lovely home. We rent in this area of PA or NY every year and you want for nothing here. The game room was awesome, we listened to our favorite music and everyone had something to do. The lake area was so relaxing and you didn't need to bring anything but a good book (equipped with lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas to eat lunch). The kids loved the pool, volleyball, ping pong, boating and fishing, we did it all. The house was clean, comfortable and had enough room to spread out. Bet the snowy mountains are beautiful from the deck. Thanks Deb & Chris, We will be back!

Wonderful time at this fantastic home! Has everything you need! Owners thought of everything and communicated all needed info excellently. Plenty of space with beautiful brand new home in exellent condition. Our favorites were the hot tub, games and sitting on the wonderfull deck counting the stars. I hesitate to write a positive review about this vacation rental. If I keep it my little secret then there's a good chance it may be available when I plan my next vacation. Our family rents in the Poconos every winter for a get together and this was by far the best rental we stayed at. We stayed in this exceptional home 2/7 through 2/10 of 2008. The place was FANTASTIC. We didn't want to leave. It was SO easy to maintain. We found cooking large meals at home to be a breeze. Since the main floor is pretty much on the top floor, we would suggest having those that like to sleep in, utilize the lower level bedrooms. The views from the enormous hot tub were breath taking all hours of the day and night. We will be back every year and can't wait to see the ongoing improvements made by our new friends, the Smith family!! A+, 110%, Kudos.

My friends and I rented the house the first week of February. We had such a great time and the house was absolutely incredible. It was exceptionally clean, well decorated, spacious and came with everything. We all loved the house better then our own! The location was perfect. We had a ball going tubing but unfortunately couldn't go skiing due to icy conditions but we were 100% satisfied. The game room was perfect and heated which was terrific. We are looking forward to renting it again and I highly recommend the house to everyone.

We rented the house for Thanksgiving and it turned out wonderful! Everything you could think of came included with the house. Just pack your clothes and your all set! We actually had snow and were able to go tubbing/skiing which is in walking distance from the house. The kids played non stop in the game room. There is so much space that even with 16 people, you never felt like you were on top of anyone. Beautiful, clean, spacious and beyond our expectations! The house was beautiful and fabulous. Great entertainment home. Kids, 22,20 and two 18 yr. olds had a great time and that's saying alot. Loved the pool, lake and hot tub. Played pool, pinball and foosball til all hours of the night. Highly recommend anyone to stay here.

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at this house for New Years Eve weekend 2007. The house is incredible - great facilities, decor, and extremely convenient to the slopes (literally cannot get a closer house!). my friends and I have been renting in the pocons since 1994 this house is by far the best house we ever stayed at.It is very kid friendly our kids had the best timeand at thesame time it is great fun for the adults.this house is so close to the mountain you can walk to go skiing.the pictures on the web site dont do the house justice and debby&chrisare so nice itwas a pleasure dealing with them they are on top of everything to do with the house and very acessible if you have a problem.we hope to rent this house for many years to come.

My husband and I, including a few of our friends stayed at this house during President's Day weekend this year (2007). This house was amazing! It had many different rooms to entertain in and five bedrooms which was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. This house is brand new so all the appliances, furniture, towels, bedding, kitchen utensils, etc. were new. The house came equipped with pretty much everything that you would need for your trip except your clothes! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a fun place to stay that offers plenty of things to do. The pool table, hot tub, grill and all the patios were fun additions to the house. The location of the house is the best house within the Big Boulder community as it is only a 2-5 minute walk to the ski slopes in the winter. The backyard faces the slopes and the lake which is very beautiful. We are all looking forward to staying here again!
