Echo Cabin is the perfect place for guests who would like to enjoy the simple life - beautiful views of the Swan Mountain Range surround a lake which is ideal for all manner of water sports. Echo Lake is a medium-sized lake with over 50 miles of shoreline and is warm and clear from June on. The cabin is located on a private, 1.3 acre wooded lot and has approximately 150 feet of shoreline. Jewel Basin hiking area is visible from the large deck and barbecue area. The cabin features an antique Kalamazoo wood stove, one bedroom, and one bath with additional futon and queen-size sofa sleepers.
Boating and fishing are favorite pastimes. Echo is renowned for its bass fishing. When you are ready to relax, we recommend swimming and sunbathing from the dock, as well as evening campfires overlooking the lake. In addition, fishing boat & motor is available for an additional weekly fee.
Nearby activities may include a visit to Glacier Park (40-45 minutes) or a live theater performance at the nearby Bigfork Summer Playhouse. The picturesque community of Bigfork is a short ten-minute commute and features a village-like downtown area with excellent restaurants and galleries.
Guests may also enjoy golfing at nearby Eagle Bend - which is rated the number one golf course in Montana - or plan some hiking in Jewel Basin for breathtaking views of the Flathead Valley.
