Our home: "Scenic Cottage" is located on "Scenic Drive" in Laguna Beach... this area truly is scenic. Enjoy our 1200 square foot, OCEAN VIEW - OCEAN CLOSE - beach home. Our home has two bedrooms and one bath. We sleep four comfortable and is quite cozy for two. We are a single family home - with a tropical court yard, gated and private. Our two-story home has the living area on the upper level to maximize on the views. The ocean can be seen from the large deck which runs the length of the home, views are also seen from living room, dining room, and kitchen. (Open all of the french doors and enjoy ocean cool breezes).
Bedroom #2 is located on the upper lever, here we have a trundle bed with 2 twins. Also on this level is the updated bathroom with a tub and shower. The master bedroom, which has one queen bed, is located down the winding nautical staircase at the homes garden level, very peaceful and private. (Also private enterance here if desired).
Take a short walk through our quiet Laguna neighborhood (aprox 10 min to beach)(approximately two full city blocks) to one of Southern California's most beautiful little beaches, "Table Rock Beach". We say a picture is worth 1000 words - so enjoy the pictures of the beach below in our picture gallery.
It is only a short neighborhood walk down to the small grocery, several restaurants - both causal and more formal, to the video rental and even the nail salon. Laguna's Main Beach is just three miles north - up Pacific Coast Highway. Drive up or take the bus - a small local bus stops about 100 feet from the front door. Laguna Beach is home of the world famous "Pageant of the Masters", "Laguna Beach Playhouse", and local artist "Sawdust Festival". Laguna offers shopping, museums, restaurants and numerous art galleries (that's what we are known for) and we have just beautiful ocean scenic walks.
We have an abundance of beaches both north an south of us ie: Table Rock & West Beach 10 min walk, Aliso Creek just 1/2 mi +++ We have a guest information book at the cottage with information and directions on our nearby beaches.
"Scenic Cottage" is nestled in-between three 5-Star Resorts like the "Montage" just 1 mile north. The famous "Ritz Carlton" at beautiful Salt Creek Beach" and The "St. Regis" both just 2 miles south. Each adjacent to golf courses.
Dana Point Harbor is just three miles south. Here you can charter boats. Enjoy a tour of the Marine Institute, browse through fun shops or hop on a whale and dolphin watching trip. They have great restaurants and nightly entertainment in the harbor too.
Amusement parks? Yep, we have those too! We are just 45 minutes south of Disneyland and Knottsberry Farm and just one hour north of the world famous San Diego Zoo.
