Perfect place for our gang. Loved it rooms were just right, love the kitchen, we love to cook. Great location. One question though I thought part of the payment was a deposit and if so, shouldn't we get the money back.

We rented this house for our family (5 adults, 2 kids) during the winter and had a really fun time. The house is located really close to the lake, Heavenly, and casinos so there was plenty to do. The layout is great because the kitchen, dining area, and living space are all on the top floor and not separated by walls so it feels really open. The view of the meadow is great as well. I received a call from the owner a week before our stay and she was really friendly and helpful even offering recommendations on where to go and places to eat. Overall, I'd recommend this property to anyone looking to have fun in South Lake Tahoe. I hope to be back again very soon.

My sister and her family were in town to visit so we decided to take a trip to Tahoe. After searching from more than hundred of vacation rentals, I came across this beautiful house. The pictures and description sounded good so I booked the place. When we arrived, the house, from the outside to inside, exceeded our expectation. We loved the layout of the house: from the stairways to the family, dinning room to the kitchen, the bedrooms, bathrooms, and hot tub. Everything was clean and beautiful. The pots, pans, dishes, and silverwares were also nice and clean. The only small comments that we have: (1) The sheets and pillow covers seemed to have some smell. But with the nice laundry room in the house, we were able to wash them. (2) The current pictures of the property do not show enough how beautiful and open the house is from the kitchen to dinning and family room... We, especially the kids, all loved our stay and will definitely come back and will recommend this house to our friends. If you are looking for a nice and clean place to stay and to release all of your stress, I highly recommend this wonderful house!!!!! Oh, one last thing: the booking agent, Michael, and the owners, De and Rob, were very nice and helpful.

We never imagined that the Meadow House would be so fabulous. The window seat was great every morning to see the wonderful view. It had just snowed and everything was covered in white. The bedrooms and living room were very large. I love to cook so the kitchen was a cooks dream. At night we enjoyed the stars up on the deck and everything was there. The hot tub was fun after a day of sledding. Everything was close markets, ski runs, sledding. We would stay here again and again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

We stayed here from Jan 30-Feb 6, 2010. There were 8 of us. We all loved this house. It is so well equipped, comfortable & a great location...convenient to everything. After a full day of skiing the hot tub & fire place was something to look forward to. We will be back again & again. It was like being in our own home. We can't say enough about this place. Thanks De, it was everything you said it would be!!!

We found this property at the last minute and were very pleased. It's beautiful, very spacious, and has a great layout for hangning out and watching the snow. We had two families there (8 people) and there was plenty of room. The kids loved the "adventure" of running around the meadows and pulling the sleds around. The hot tub was great and the view very nice from there.We wished we could have stayed longer. The location felt secluded, but it was a quick jaunt to South Shore Restaurants, sled hills, Heavenly and the casinos. We'll definitely be back and you should certainly try it if you haven't already!

I stayed in this property with a group of 7 friends and absolutely loved it. The location was ideal for skiing, shopping and exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again and hope to in the not too distant future. The owners were very helpful with all my enquiries and gave me lots of information on the house and area. Highly recommended.

We spent all last week at the Meadow House. It was just perfect. Perfectly decorated and extremely comfortable. The setting is very peaceful & the house is very well stocked . There were just 4 of us staying there, so we really didn't need all the space..but when we had family over for a night of bbq and games, it fit everyone perfectly.The bike trail is great, we rode down to Camp Richardson a few times. The Brewery was our new restaurant find for a casual & fun environment.

This home was very comfortable and centrally located for walking, dining, site-seeing and casinos. The meadow behind the house was beautiful to look at with the dogs and people meandering through. We used the bike/walking path numerous times. The house is well-appointed with everything you would need. We would consider this home again for our vacation. It is large enough for 2 families. This home is in a family neighborhood with seasonal rentals.The owners were professional in their communication regarding procedures and rules regarding their home.

I go to this clean, well-maintained vacation home several times a year and every experience has been wonderful. The house is so well-appointed that I'm as comfy as if I were in my own home, yet the setting is beautiful Lake Tahoe! The views are spectacular and the scenery is so breathtaking that I could spend hours just taking photos. The great room upstairs is beautifully furnished where we can watch cable TV or DVDs or listen to music. In the nicely appointed family room downstairs the kids can also watch cable or DVDs and it's the perfect place for them to play games.The kitchen has everything I need and more, and it includes a large dining area that comfortably seats eight. The three baths are spacious and the four bedrooms are lovely and quiet. And the laundry room is so convenient! Plus the hot tub is perfect for our family of skiers and hikers! Our family will continue to come back again and again.

This house was spectacular. Close to casinos and skiing at Heavenly. We would defintely rent this home again whenever we are in Tahoe. =)
