We rented this home while my husband was working in the area for over 1 month. It was wonderful. Very clean and all that you would need to live there. I think my favorite thing was the golf cart. We could just hop on it and off to the beach we went or to the bridge to fish. I don't have 1 negative thing to say about our stay in Nettles or this home. Isabel was great to work with. We hope to return very soon but have to bring the dog this time so we won't be able to stay here again.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We wanted to get away from the New York hundred mile an hour lifestyle, and we found it! Very clean, relaxing setting, the golf cart really helped going to the ocean beach and pool, or just for the morning paper. The community pool is large with plenty of lounge chairs and jacuzzi's. The recreation room has everything you need plus a list of activities you can join with other residents. We trailered our boat from NY and found the marina staff to be very helpful in all aspects for boating fun. Fish are plentiful and even if you don't have a boat the Nettles Island bridge is a great spot for an easy catch. In NY people who wave to you usually want something from you. Here in Nettles Island, waving to everyone is a way of life, a very friendly community. We stayed for three months, and wished we could stay longer. Isabel was great if you needed anything.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, pet owners.

Wonderful, beautiful, relaxing

My family and I stayed in this home for the whole month of July (2011). It is a beautiful place for relaxing. The pools are wonderful, the beach is magnificient. And the golf cart was a big plus for us. Our plans are to go back next year. I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for fun and excitement. Local restaurants had great food and entertainment. The Children's Museum in Jensen Beach was great for the grandchildren. So much to do, but if you don't want to leave Nettles Island, that's fine too. You have shuffleboard, tennis, basketball, putt putt golf, so many things to do right on the island Thank you Isabel and Ariel for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

A great place to stay on Nettles Island

My husband and I just stayed 5 nights in this pretty unit and very much enjoyed our stay. We had minor issues with the AC just after our arrival but a quick call to Isabel and it was fixed within no time. This home has a good layout and is well cared for and equipped with everything we could need. The golf cart was included and this was a big plus for us as we wanted to get to know Nettles Island well as we are considering purchasing and this allowed us the opportunity to explore all the little streets. We particularly enjoyed being able to go to the beach and the beachfront pool with the cart, and my husband liked his early morning trip to the corner store to get a paper. The decor of the unit is key west holiday themed and if you are on vacation this works well. Because we quickly discovered Shuckers Oceanfront restaurant just across the street from Nettles we did less cooking than we expected. I did note that this is kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Having checked some other rates this is definitely a well priced rental on Nettles Island and I would certainly recommend it. If you haven't yet been to Nettles it is a great community and you should give it a whirl.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My family has vacationed at Nettle's Island the last several years and we have rented this property twice. This rental has always been extremely convenient for us and most importantly very clean! We love the use of the bikes and the golf cart, and the owners have always been flexible and reliable. We feel it is a great value for the area and the proximity to the beach and pools make it a definite winner!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

The time I spent on Nettles Island at 989 Nettles Blvd was superior in every way. The home was sparkling painted in Key West colors, offering a golf cart and opportunity to use every activitiy at the resort. I will return with pleasure. Thanks.

This is the first time we stayed on Nettles Island, but very familliar with the area. Isabel was very helpful, even giving her recommendations for local resturants. The accomodations were spacious, tastefully decorated, reasonably priced and clean. We definately plan to stay at this rental unit again when we are in the area.

Hi everyone, My wife, 2 small children and I have stayed at Sarrasotta (spelling wrong?), Sanibel and Miami Beach. My opinion about these places is that it is highly overrated. We had the time of our lives at Nettles and this house made it even better. The moment we walked in the house smelled clean and you could tell that it was well taken care of. My children are small so the kitchen with microwave and oven was a big plus. The club house was great and with many things for children of all ages. I would definitely stay here again. An absolutely wonderful vacation rental. Clean, spacious inside with all vacation amenities you would want. Isabel & Ariel could not have been more helpful or friendly, It was so nice we were tempted to keep it a secret!

Having stayed in manufactured homes before, this one was by far the best. The unit was brightly decorated, clean and well-equipped. We will certainly stay there again. Many thanks to Isabel for being so accommodating and making a last minute rental easy and very pleasant.

We have been staying on Nettles Is. for the last 20 years. This unit is one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. It is well equipped for all of your vacation needs. The unit has been painted and the decor gives it a bright, beachy feel. The rental procedure was easy and the unit was clean and ready for our vacation. Of course "Nettles" with it's activities and beach access is great. Highly recommended and we'll be staying in touch for future "snowbirding!" Good Luck!
