"Heavensdoor" as our property is known, spreads across 37 rolling acres overlooking the gorgeous Coral Coast of Viti-Levu, the largest of the Fijian islands.
We have been blessed with endless ocean views, lush tropical vegetation, incredible beaches and a great reef break at Hideaway Resort which is less than 15 minutes down the Hwy. Our local break being Sigatoka Rivermouth is the only beachbreak in the whole Fiji Islands.
We are conveniently located 1 hour south of Nadi Airport, and 15 minutes from Sigatoka town. There are wonderful outdoor markets in Sigatoka with an abundance of fresh local fruits and vegetables and unique native crafts. We are nestled atop a mountain ridge between the Outrigger Resort(5mins)and the Hideaway Resort(15mins), which welcome you to use their restaurants/bars & pool areas. The beaches along the Coral Coast & in front of Heavensdoor are truly exceptional for snorkeling, diving, and sun bathing. Sovi Bay(5 mins)is a beautiful white sand beach with easy access for swimming and snorkeling. Just past Hideway Resort you will find the Waterfalls, a great hike & beautiful swimming pools. The months of Aug/Sept are supreme for kitesurfing due to the perfect wind conditions. Heavensdoor faces South with traditional trade winds being south east.
We have 4 villas on the property. "LOMALAGI" (pronounced lomalangi, means Heavenly in Fijian) is our Vacation Villa at the peak of the mountain. We call it "Heavenly" for a Reason! The views are Spectacular! This is a spacious 3500 sq.ft, 2 story house, 4 bedroom 4 bath house that can accommodate a maximum of 10 people. The upstairs consists of a master suite with queen bed, a double room with 2 queen beds separated by a shared bath and a lovely living room with exceptional views. Downstairs has a master suite, dining room, lounge, kitchen, and the fourth bed/bath.There is also 1000 sq.ft. of lanai/porch areas with a built in rock bar-b-que. The 4th bedroom can also be utilized for the house girl if live-in services are desired. Services can be arranged at an additional charge, either a few hours per day or overnight for your cleaning/cooking or child care needs.
Our other villa's which you will pass on the way up to Lomalangi house our in house managers, Abi & Meci. In house staff all being Fijian, occupy the other villa's so security, any help & or additional information you may require is available.
