This quiet, spacious, stylish one bedroom apartment comfortably accommodates 5 adults or a family of two adults and three children. Fully renovated in April 2006, this 50m2 (approximately 500 square feet) one bedroom walk-up apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a classic, well preserved French style building. The building is equipped with two coded doors and the apartment is fitted with a double bolt door and keys that are not duplicable for optimal security.
The apartment is fully furnished featuring a top-quality, queen size bed (160x200 cm) in the bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed (140x190 cm) in the living room, plus a sofa chair for extra sleeping accommodations.
The living room and bedroom are spacious and artfully decorated. The living room hosts a CD player and large TV/DVD, with cable TV. A fold-out dining table accommodates 4 persons. The kitchen bar seats an additional 4 persons. Folding chairs are provided for extra seating arrangements. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, 4 element stove, washer/dryer, toaster, coffee maker, plus cooking utensils and various dishware, pots and pans, iron, and ironing board - everything to make a visit to Paris as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The bathroom is artfully decorated with mosaic tiling and modern elegant features. It features a bathtub/shower, toilet and sink, hairdryer plus an assortment of luxurious towels. There is a large hallway cupboard for storage of suitcases and other large items. The apartment is fully equipped with linens, blankets, duvets and pillows.
The apartment is located in a clean, quiet, residential area of Paris. The apartment is situated within 5 minutes by foot from the enchanting and lively avenue des Champs Elysées, 15 minutes by foot from the most Parisian of monuments, the Eiffel Tower, and 20 minutes by foot from the breathtaking Place de Concorde, the Tuilleries Gardens and world renowned Louvre Museum, plus a large variety of other wonderful Parisian monuments and sites.
The apartment is situated in the wealthy, safe, residential 16th/8th neighbourhood, also known as the "Golden Triangle". The apartment is located on a lively, fully serviced street including several grocery shops, bakery, meat shop, wine/liquor store, pharmacy, flower shop, dry-cleaner, restaurants and cafes. A variety of shopping, boutiques, cafes and restaurants are located within walking distance, as well as movie theatres, night clubs and other evening entertainment. Twice a week a large outdoor market offering everything from fruit and vegetables, clothing, dishes and other wonderful treasures is setup 5 minutes by foot from the apartment.
The apartment is very centrally located providing easy access to just about every other area of Paris. Most notably, the apartment is a 5 minute walk from the main metro line located at the famous Arc de Triomphe (Metro line 1: Charles-de-Gaulle Etoile) that runs through the heart of Paris. This metro station is also the connection point for various other important metro lines leading to popular Parisian neighbourhoods, tourist sites and museums, and in particular Euro Disney. Most other major metro lines are within walking distance from the apartment or easily connected to by one of the closely situated metro lines. Additionally, given the central location of the apartment, there are several major bus routes which run close or within easy walking distance of the apartment.
