Treat yourself to this well appointed ideal sunny private gated and secure residence which permits guests to experience the warm native island charm from the historic Eastern Road area just a stone's throw away from where one of the island's most famous pirates, Blackbeard, maintained his lookout tower. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, local fruit bearing trees and frequented by a variety of local exotic birds, this sunny house is perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing in the hammock, sunbathing poolside in the afternoon sun, stargazing at night or strolling to a nearby beach. This property has an alarm system.

This air-conditioned tastefully furnished home is well maintained and tiled throughout but comfortably accented with area rugs. No detail is spared in anticipating the comfort and convenience of our guests. Complete with an en-suite jacuzzi master bath, HDTV's, cd/dvd players, refrigerator, stove/oven, toaster, coffee makers, fishing box gear and gadgets, shot/wine glasses & beer mugs, flatware, washer/dryer, linens, bath, pool and beach towels, beach cooler and fold down travel chairs.

Bahamian artwork is displayed throughout this home complimenting the distinctive character of each room. The sliding glass doors of the dining room opens directly onto the pool deck. Light the torches poolside at night and enjoy a self prepared meal under the evening stars. There's a nearby large grocery store with fresh produce and fruits, specialty items, kosher foods. Seagrapes Shopping Plaza (5 mins. drive) has a wine and liquor store, Papa John's Pizzaria, Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers, food and prescription drugs store, spa and many other stores. If you choose not to rent a car, the local bus stops a short 3 minutes walk from the house every 15 minutes or so (except between 11 am and 2 pm when availability is much less) and it can take you into downtown Nassau or to local shops and bring you back for US$1.25 each way.

The hi-tech features of this house keeps you in touch with the world or work via a high speed internet. Bring a laptop. A plain paper color fax, printer, copier, scanner is available. If we haven't thought about something you may need, tell us and we'll do our best to make it happen. We are simply "in your service" and strive to give you the most memorable Bahamas vacation experience ever.

If you are traveling with an infant, nicely stowed in the closet you will find fresh linen/bumpers for the crib, deluxe baby musical swing, deluxe baby stroller, high chair, car seats, and similar necessities. Prices quoted is for up to 4 persons; One time $150 charge for each additional person.

A fireproof combination safe is made available in the house for the safe storage of your valuables. The combination is changed after each guest and only you and the property manager will have the combination and override key.

  • We had an awesome stay thanks to Hendrith Smith's hospitality! The house is comfortable and beautiful with super amenities. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the gardens restful. We chose to walk or take the local buses (sometimes a taxi), and enjoyed the exercise, the weather, the beaches, the shopping, and food!

  • What can I say. It was perfect! Especially for a single Mom on a budget. We could have stayed at Atlantis for 4 days or rent a house for 8 days. That was a no-brainer. (you can still purchase an all day pass for Atlantis for $105.00 and they have lockers available.) The house and private pool were great! We went shopping at the local grocery store, another new exp.(Remember everything has to be imported and is double what you pay in the U.S.) But you will save alot of money cooking for yourself, we bar-b-qued most every night. The people we met on the island were wonderful and very polite. Plan on renting a car it makes it much more enjoyable. Taxis are not always available when you want them. There are 2 public accesses to cabbage beach if you go to the farthest one off paradise road (turn left,very tiny sign saying public beach access) there is parking all around, take the sand path and when you stop at the top of the stairs the view is breath taking, Me & my girls went most everyday. I think that by staying in Hendriths rental house we truly experienced what it was like to live on the island versus staying at a resort and just visiting the island. I can't say enough about the wonderful people and Hendrith's hospitality, We will be back again. Thank you Hendrith. Respectfully, Jeanne Barrett Dallas, Texas

  • Absolutely wonderful!!! We arrived a bit early, and Hendrith and the cleaning staff were just finishing making sure the house was spotless! It was a great base for us to explore the whole island, and having a full kitchen and BBQ was a good option instead of restaurants every night. The pool was refreshing (we were all in it before we un-packed!) and it became a haven for our winter-weary bones. We will definitely be back, as the location, price and accommodations fit perfectly with our family's needs.

  • We stayed 4 persons 13 days in Wrinkle Astarit , and it was great. The house was in good condition and one of the good things was the computer ,when 2 teenage boys have to communicat with friend in Denmark . The pool was great , for both adult and children ,and very beatful with lights in it when its dark. A big beatiful garden . Good beds and nice furniture.

  • This was our first vacation to the Bahamas and it was a great experience. From the ride from the airport and the Seagrapes rental property, there was always something to catch your eye.We did most of our cooking at home but the Brazilian style buffet at Greycliff downtown was worth mentioning. Above all after a day full of activities we came back to the relaxing comfort and luxury of this rental property, take a hot jacuzzi dip and a good shower then sit back and relax watching tv, relaxing by the pool or browsing the net. My kudos to Hendrith Smith for maintaining this decent property. When we come back to Nassau we will sure want to be in this house again

  • We had a great time staying at this house! I stayed there with my fiance and 2 other couples for 5 nights. We were very comfortable and the property owner was extremely helpful and accomodating. We would take a quick drive to Cabbage Beach each day and then at night we cooked and relaxed outside on the patio by the pool. The property was clean with all the amenities, the yard was well maintained and we had plently of space for the 6 of us. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
