Canyon Run is located on the Eagle River in Avon, about 400 Yards from the Beaver Creek Resort entrance and a 5 minute walk to the new Westin Hotel Gondola scheduled (but not guarenteed)to open this winter. The Avon Village Shuttle Bus stops regularly in front of our townhome and will take you to the Beaver Creek lifts and the Town of Avon. We are a short (100 yards) walk to Starbucks and the Avon Bakery (a local favorite). Similar accommodations in Beaver Creek or Vail will be at twice the nightly rate. Avon is also 1000 feet lower in elevation than Beaver Creek - you will sleep better!
This townhome is a three bedroom, three bath, end unit with an attached single car garage. As an end unit, the property is larger than most at over 2000 square feet and faces both south and west... more light.
The south and west facing Living Room overlooks the Eagle River and Beaver Creek and features a rock faced gas fireplace, leather sofas and a 31 inch LCD flat screen TV with DVD player, stereo and Comcast cable and High Speed Internet Service. The large dining room easily seats eight. Off the Living Room is a large deck that overlooks the Eagle River features a gas barbecue. The shared community Hot Tub is adjacent to the home.
The fully remodeled kitchen features new knotty pine cabinets, new stainless steel appliances, and granite counters. Dishware, silverware, pots/pans, and small appliances are included. A breakfast bar that seats four separates the kitchen from the living/dining room. A full-size washer and dryer is just off the kitchen. This townhome has an attached single car garage.
A bedroom off of the living room has its own private bath. This bedroom suite features bunkbeds in a single/double configuration and a TV with DVD player. The lower level features the master suite as well as an additional bedroom suite. The master suite features a King Bed, 31 inch LCD flat screen TV and large remodeled bath. The bath offers duel vanity sinks in a granite counter top, tumbled marble walk-in shower and large soaking tub. The Master Bedroom patio allows direct access to the Eagle River. The lower level third bedroom suite features a queen bed, TV with DVD player and private bath with granite counter and tumbled marble shower/tub surround.
As you consider other Avon accomodations, be aware that many are exposed to I-70 road noise and many were built in the 1970's. You will find less expensive accomodations, but few will be better finished than our remodeled Canyon Run home built in 1997 and with no I-70 road noise.
