Little Castle in Cordoba.
Live with all your family in a four bedrooms in suites house built in 1945 after the second world war by an Italian architect dreaming of a new venture.
This original little granite Castle located in the heart of a typical village and built on four acres of land with large windows and 150 meters shore on a river will make you feel in heaven. Surrounded by mountains, the beauty of this house will free you and bring you the peace of mind you are looking for. From the "Belvedere" of the house or from the summit of the tower you will get the greatest view of the magnificent valley and its river.
Argentina’s Sierra is the recreational area of the huge city of Cordoba. The area has the reputation to benefit of the third best climate of the world for its high level of oxygen. The castle is located in a 225 years old village at an altitude of 900 meters in the heart of the Punilla Valley at one hour from the Cordoba airport and 25 minutes from Carlos Paz and five minutes from the touristic town of La Falda.
It is at walking distance from bakery, pharmacy, restaurant, post office, café, museums, bus station and the old church, the “Capilla de San Antonio » built in 1785.
Since it is a vacation area there is many excellent restaurants nearby that will offer you the legendary culinary treasures like the low cholesterol Argentinian steak, el “bife chorizo” or the “parrillada” with a variety of delicious local wines.
Shopping here is a pleasure for your pocket. You can bring back home a hand made wool poncho, sweater or ruana, a leather purse, limoncello bottles as they produce on the Amalfi Coast in Italy or any local handicraft at an affordable price. Go to watch a Gaucho contest on the Sunday afternoon, a song festival in the next village or just go play golf.
It is safe, far away from the cities and the crowd. For your privacy, walls and fences surround the property with a security remote control gate. That’s an unknown corner of the planet which is not on the "industrial" international tourism route and only known by Argentinians and now maybe by you! |
