Jan and Bob (Pero) sailed the Caribbean on their 65 ft yacht for more than 20 years, exploring the islands and entertaining guests. Choosing a beautiful island with an affiliation to the United States as a second home seemed like a great idea. They bought a home on the east end of St. Thomas and then the two acres of waterfront property adjoining Honeymoon beach on Water Island. Pero loves to build (being a civil engineer) and started to build Water Island Hideaway in 2001
Jan loves people, loves to share, and entertain, so they decided to join VRBO and welcome guests to this special, 500 acres, 4th U.S. Virgin Island. Jan wrote the Ship to Shore Cookbook Series and has promoted her books throughout the islands and knows them very well, so not only will she look forward to meeting you at the ferry dock, but will be delighted to share any information that you may need to make your vacation – perfect!!
