Restored only 6 years ago, Casa Quinilio is a luxurious old house in a spectacular position just below the lovely old walled village of Castiglione. A private pool and lovely garden offers complete privacy with open sunny views of the Garfagnana valley and the beautiful Appenine and Apuane mountains. It's only a 10 minutes walk to the centre of the village, with its' restaurants, shops, and bars.
In 2012 Castiglione, which is a classic hilltop fortified medieval Tuscan village, was voted as one of the nicest villages in Italy.
The big house has 4 traditional bedrooms furnished with good taste and quality. There are 2 doubles and 2 twin bedrooms, sleeping 8 people.
The very attractive living room has interesting furnishings, with access from it to a quiet balcony.
The fully equipped modern kitchen comfortably seats 8 people.
The 4 bathrooms are luxurious and conveniently positioned two en-suite
The sunny garden is on all sides of the house, making it peaceful and safe for children to play in and explore. There is easy access from the house to a shaded outdoor table, and you can also relax in the other garden chairs and loungers.
The bespoke eco-pool has been designed to to complement the surrounding area, with the extra benefit of being consistently 2-3 degrees warmer than conventional pools.
Casa Quinilio is a house of high quality in which a classic rural Tuscan holiday can be easily enjoyed.
