This Condo was everything I expected and more! The description of the property was spot on, and the Condo is immaculate with completely updated kitchen, flooring, and appliances. The property is quiet and well maintained. It is within a short walking distance to the downtown area with quaint shopping, excellent restaurants, and a variety of nightlife activities. Donna was awesome; very professional, kind, and prompt to reply to any questions or concerns (which were very little). I especially loved being able to literally walk off the property steps into the river, float for an hour, and walk an easy 2 blocks back to the condo! The Schlitterbaun is literally across the street, but the main entrance is several blocks away so the traffic was not a problem. The train was a little noisy at night, but it certainly wouldn't keep me from returning! I couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home. I HIGHLY recommend this modern and classy rental, and plan on returning to this same condo in the future!

Amazing Location...Extraordinary Condo!

During our first trip to New Braunfels, TX we had minimal expectations. After arriving at this property we were both amazed by the location and thoroughly satisfied by the cleanliness and decor of this condo. The cleaning crew left it spotless and we later found that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything imaginable to make our stay comfortable. The location is unmatched in this incredible community...right across the road from Shlitterbahn and the perfect river frontage location directly on the Comal River. Just take your tube right to the river next to your condo and tube to the final exit spot on the Comal or drive/walk about a mile to the spot to start your tubing journey down the Comal and end it right at your condo's door...crystal clean 72-74 degree spring water...unbelievable experience. Just to make it more relaxing and fun take a dip in the pool located right on the Comal river or just hang around the riverbank and watch the tubers cruise by. After looking around the area (particularly at river frontage units) during our stay we are convinced that this is the best condo and best location you will find for your stay in New Braunfels...you and your family will love this place...no surprises!

Great Comal River Condo

I couldn't have asked for a better condo! It was clean & very well stocked. The owners go the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need. After staying on the property numerous times in various rooms, I can say it's the best we've ever had. The only negative thing I can say is this is the first year we've encountered a curfew on the property. I'm not sure if the 11:00 PM curfew is new or newly enforced but we weren't loud or rowdy and didn't feel it necessary to enforce a curfew on adults.

Great place to stay for floating down the Comal River and for attending Schlitterbahn and any other nearby New Braunsfels attractions! The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only negative was the whistle-blowing of the train that awoke me 3 times during our first night, but that problem would be the same at any other accommodation in that area. I never heard the train the 2nd night :) Also, the owner of the unit was very helpful and organized! :)

Great Stay!!

This is a GREAT rental property. It is on the comal river and across from SCHLITTERBAHN. Also it is about two blocks from DOWNTOWN. The room is emaculate exactly like the pics show. My family of four truly ENJOYED our trip and would return to this location. The rentors are EXCELLENT.

My husband and I came for a month of fun with our family and new grand daughter. Our condo rental was perfect. It included a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas and bedrooms, clean and fresh bathrooms, and washer/dryer. We spent mornings and afternoons on the shade covered deck. The swimming pool and spas were perfectly maintained along with the park like grounds. Cable and Wi Fi were included. Our condo owner was very helpful and accommodating during our long distance reservation process and during our month long stay. We sampled many of the local restaurants and appreciated the friendly town of New Braunfels. We highly recommend the Comal River Resort!

Time Flies!

Here it is almost a year later and as I am looking to return to the area, I realized that I never wrote a review! The place was perfect for our needs. It is even more spacious and inviting than the pictures! We felt at home the minute we walked in and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The owners were very accommodating. We were in the area to see our son in a show at Texas State University and to spend Thanksgiving week with him. It was an easy drive to San Marcos and it was so nice to have a place where we could spend a family holiday. We had everything we needed to roast a turkey and all the fixins!

Beautiful condo!

We stayed here for one week in November. Because it was off-season, it was very quiet and peaceful. The condo was as described, newly redecorated, comfortable, up-to-date and as clean as it could possibly be. The owners were extremely helpful in answering our questions before and during our stay. We enjoyed the area, learning about the German influence there and especially going to Wurstfest, which shouldn't be missed if you're there the week it is on. (Potato pancakes with applesauce and sausage were worth the long wait in line!) Nearby Gruene was a fun place to visit and the Gristmill Restaurant was a highlight. Rudy's BBQ was also a favorite. We were able to drive conveniently to both San Antonio and Austin and so had a varied vacation experience. We aren't into water sports so weren't disappointed that it was too cold for tubing and Schlitterbahn was closed (the only tuber we saw was in a wet suit), but we can imagine that it would be a great place for those who want to take advantage of the river and the park which are so close (but the quiet ambiance we experienced would probably not be the experience one would have in season). The only negative was the very frequent train whistles but we heard that some ordinance has passed which will eliminate those in the future. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who was going at this time of year (the weather was gorgeous, by the way, sunny, dry and cool, which I like) but we can't speak for the busier high season which might be a very different experience.

For the past six years I have ventured to New Braunfels with my sons and a few of their close friends and have rented local cottages for the additional room I thought we needed to be comfortable. This year their was a reduction since my one son is now in the adult world and had other commitments and decided on renting a condo that would feel our space needs. I now wish I would have used condos in the past especially if they would have been like the one we stayed at this year. The property was exactly as it was described on its description and pictures. There was more than ample space for the three of us, very well maintained and clean, well supplied, and very quiet within the unit. The additional amenities such as being on the river (I toobed four times due to its convenience) and the pool allowed the remaining son and friend additional recreation unavailable in past visits. Also the common area was well maintained and very picturesque. I highly recommend this unit to others who plan on visiting the area especially including those with children, young to old.

First time to stay at this location. This condo is absolutely a home away from home. Very comfy, cozy, modern/updated and decorated very nicely. We had no problems at all. The owners were very helpful in giving us a list of restaurants and places of interests...which we found very helpful. The condo is right on the river and was nicely maintained/clean. Easy access to the river and into town. We love it! We didn't want to leave :) It was quiet and peaceful at night...and during the day was nice too. We tried the Red Rooster Cafe for a great/hearty breakfast. Also visited the Gristmill for dinner...it was only about 10 minutes away. Strolled through the farmers market on Saturday morning...for some fresh veggies/fruit....and then shopping was very close and convenient. Overall this is a top notch spot. Will recommend to my friends and family who want a perfect get away place! It's only a couple of hours from the Katy (Houston) area. Thanks Donna....we had a great time and will look forward visiting again! :)

Wonderful place to stay, right on the river. You can just jump in take a 1 hour float and only have a 2 block walk back to the condo, and jump in again.

You will love this place. Thank You Donna !!! everything was just as advertised. The condo( #209 )was like new,very clean and comfortable.The property was clean and well maintained.We cooked on the grill by the river and their is a very large deck with tables and chairs overlooking the pool and river.The condo had nice flat screen t.v.s and a video library with 50 family movies.Security was on site and always willing to help in any way. Covered parking was provided but be careful when parking dont hit the poles

We stayed at this condo with another couple for a getaway weekend and it was amazing. So clean and comfortable. The furnishings are beautiful and it has everything you need to feel at home and have a great weekend. The location is perfect! We floated the river 3 times because it was so close! This condo was extremely nice and clean. The condo had all the upgrades of a new home. Owners even left a dvd library for renters to view on a beautiful flat screen tv. You can definitely tell the owners have pride in their home away home.

We had a fabulous time while we were in New Braunfels over the Memorial Day weekend 2010. The Condo was decorated very nicely and comfortable for four people. However, it would be cramped if more than four tried to stay. We were disappointed on the size of the patio. It really is not meant to have more than 2 or 3 people, 4 was very crowded. We were also disappointed in the slight view of the river. We thought we would have an opportunity to sit on the patio comfortably and watch the toobers, not so much. The Condo location is premium and on a perfect spot on the river. We really enjoyed hanging out on the banks right where we were staying. We also enjoyed the ability to get in right at the Condo, float down the river, get out and have a small walk back to the Condo - Very Convenient! Donna was a GEM to work with. She was very helpful and provided additional information for surrounding sights. She responded very quickly to any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to be in the middle of it ALL! Stephanie H. Royse City, TX

Just returned from staying in unit 209 and we really loved it. The grounds are lovely and we enjoyed being within walking distance to Schlitterbaun. You can also put in the river here and float for about 45 minutes and get out at the last public exit and it's a 5-10 minute walk back to the condo. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked, the complex itself is well maintained and was very quiet. Would love to stay here again.

Location, Location, Location! Our family recently spent a lovely vacation at The Inverness Condos Unit A-114. This unit is conveniently located near Schlitterbaun and the relaxing Comal River. Tube rentals and shuttles are steps away. Enjoyed the private pool/spa and covered garage with elevator. Visited the nearby town of Greune experiencing true Texas entertainment and restaurants. This condo was recently remodeled with upgrades and decor. The bedrooms were comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. The family room was relaxing with a Flat screen TV. Kitchen provided all the necessities and the Washer/Dryer was great for all our extra towels. Plenty of information covering local entertainment and eating establishments. The condo was neat and clean and "Quiet". We highly recommend reserving this condo for a fantastic Hill Country Retreat!

We recently rented rooms 209 and 114 and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The location is great. Both rooms were extremely clean, recently updated with nice furnishings and finishes. I would highly recommend these rental units to anyone looking to enjoy the New Braunfels area.

What a perfectly awesome place! The condo was beyond anything we expected and the decor "rocked" according to my boys. We had as much fun out on the dock visiting with everyone floating by as we did floating the river. Hands down, it's the best spot on the river! What a cool place! We were there for 4 days and had a great time. The Condo we stayed in was fabulous. I was concerned about cleanliness and was unsure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to find our place was spotless and nicely appointed. Much better than we would have found at any hotel in the area and better located. Right across the street from Schlitterbahn, private swimming pool, and spas. I highly recommend staying there. We will definetely be back!

We stayed in A209 January and February/09. The condo is very clean and the owners have done a great job of redecorating. It is very well stocked and the flat screen tv's are great. The location is great and close to shopping and Gruene..We would love to stay in this unit again....

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUT STAY AT UNIT 209. ALL OF US ENJOYED THE POOL AND HOT TUBS. THE CONVENIENCE OF HAVING A TUBE RENTAL PLACE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET WITH SHUTTLE SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT RIVER ACCESS. WE ALSO LIKED BEING SO CLOSE TO SCHLITTERBAHN THAT WE COULD WALK. MY FAMILY HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND WE PLAN ON VISITING AGAIN.

My family and I recently stayed in units A-114 and A-209. Both are nice and clean and very comfortable. Vacationing with kids, having a washer/dryer was great. A-114 was especially nice, as it has been recently remodeled and very nicely decorated. My grandkids really liked the pool and hot tub. We liked the newly constructed picnic/bbq area overlooking the river and close to the pool, so we could bbq and watch the kids in the pool at the same time. We highly recommend these units to anyone. The owners are great. We plan to come back next year, if not sooner.

We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in this lovely condo during the months of February and March, 2008. The condo is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and was very clean. The building and the grounds are very well maintained and dealing with the owner was a pleasure. We especially liked being right near the Comal River, it is so beautiful and we so enjoyed sitting on its banks and watching the tubers floating by. We stayed in A114 for the months of February and March 2008. The condo was extremely nice and had everything we could possibly need. Being right next to the Comal River was so great! The condo is very clean, the building is quiet and the grounds are very well maintained. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation! What a great place! We were there for Labor Day and had a blast. Superior river access for tubing, swimming and fishing. Right across the street from Schlitterbahn. Huge deck and riverside pool. Nicely accomodated, furnished, and decorated condo. We highly recommended it and we'll be back.

THIS PROPERTY IS PERFECT,WONDERFUL DECK AND POOL OVERLOOKING THE COMAL RIVER. THERE ARE PICNIC TABLES AND LOUNGE CHAIRS ALL RIGHT BY THE RIVER, THE GROUNDS ARE BEAUTIFUL, AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM THE BACK YARD!! CLOSE TO EVERYTHING YET PRIVATE AND SEEMS LIKE YOUR MILES AWAY. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE, THE NEPHEWS LOVED THE POOL AND FISHED AND SWAM IN THE RIVER. WE HAD A BLAST WATCHING THE TUBERS FLOAT BY. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PROPERTY JUSTICE, IT IS AWESOME,THE CONDO WAS PERFECT, ROOMY AND CLEAN. WE COULD NOT HAVE STAYED IN A BETTER PLACE. THE OWNER IS REALLY NICE AND WE WILL GO BACK. WE LIKE TO STAY AT PLACES THAT HAVE CHARM AND ATMOSPHERE AND THIS CONDO HAS IT ALL.

THIS PROPERTY IS PERFECT, WONDERFUL DECK, POOL OVERLOOKING THE COMAL RIVER AND PICNIC TABLES AND SEATING BY THE COMAL RIVER, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING YET PRIVATE AND BEAUTIFUL. THE CONDO WAS GREAT AND THE OWNER WAS GREAT. WE LOVE THIS PLACE AND PLAN TO GO BACK. COULD NOT HAVE STAYED AT A BETTER PLACE.

The unit was very clean and well furnished. A very convenient location, very close to Sclitterbahn. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, overlooking the Comal. Owners were very nice to work with when we were making arrangements.

Unit 209A at Inverness, New Braunfels, Texas. A very nice 2Bedroom, 2Bath Condo on the Comal River. Nice views of river off shared patio area, shared hot tub, pool. Condo has small deck, all dishes, silverware, pans, etc. provided. Nicely furnished, walking distance to downtown, quiet area, undercover parking. Owners very pleasant to work with. Wow! What a great time we had staying here and floating the Comal River! The accomodations were perfect and made for a fun-filled, yet relaxing week and the location couldn't have been better to float the Comal River and enjoy the uniqueness of New Braunfels, TX. We'll be back!
