This splendid and exclusive air conditioned apartment is located in the heart of the Marais, one of the most ancient and picturesque parts of Paris, characterized by its unique 17th century buildings and elegant stores and restaurants.
The apartment sits in a registered historical building dated 1663 and was recently fully restored with an eye for elegant details (antiques, exposed beams and white walls, arched picture windows, terra-cotta).
This 600 square foot non-smoking apartment is equipped with a state-of-the-art remote controlled electronic heater and air conditioning.
The living area is furnished with a round dining-table and leather chairs, bridge table, coffee table, desk, sofa-bed for 2 persons amd sofa bed for one guest. Most of the furniture are very nice antiques from the Napoleon III and Louis-Philippe periods.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge, stove and a washer/dryer. The bathroom is fully accessorized and includes a combination shower/bath, and a WC. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed and a very large closet.
For visitors who wish to explore Paris on foot, this is an excellent point from which to do so, for the marvelous Marais district includes the Place des Vosges, Picasso Museum, Carnavalet Museum, Hotel de Ville and of course the Louvre. From your doorstep, in around 5 minutes on foot you are also at the Seine River, crossing onto the Islands to visit Notre Dame and the Ile Saint-Louis, the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain des Pres. All major attractions in the center of Paris are thus within walking distance.
