Additional Area Information:
Reno/Tahoe International airport is approximately 1 1/4 hour from the condo. If you don't wish to drive, there is South Tahoe Express which offers bus service from the airport directly to downtown South Lake Tahoe where you can catch a cab up to the condo. There are also vans that will provide direct access to the unit. If you go to the Reno Airport website and to the transportation link, you can locate transportation that suits your needs.
There is a small grocery store just down the hill from the condo or you can call the delivery service to have items delivered directly to your front door! Aside from Stagecoach Lodge, there is also a great sports bar & pub down the street which serves excellent breakfasts and dinners, great beer on tap and several big screen t.v.'s for your sports entertainment. New York Pizza delivers to the condo.
Ski/Snowboarding equipment rental is at Stagecoach Lodge across the street or there are also several places in South Lake Tahoe & Reno which offer equipment from beginner to expert and equipment can be delivered to the condo - please inquire with owner. Lessons can be taken at Boulder Lodge and Heavenly Transportation will gladly drive you over to Boulder Lodge to take group or private lessons. Discounted lift tickets can be provided at the tenant's expense. Please inquire if you wish to purchase tickets.
Great hiking, biking, and camping in the summers and spectacular skiing in the winters. Edgewood Golf Course is ten minutes away. Several major hiking trails are directly across the street and accessible during the summer months. Gardnerville, Carson City, and Minden are about 20 minutes. The units are quiet and secluded at night. Ideal for vacationers and honeymooners, too! |
