The Carriage House Suite occupies the first level of this beautiful, craftsman style, timber frame home, located in the pristine Girdwood valley, 1 mile from Alyeska Ski resort and 30 scenic miles South of Anchorage, along the shores of Turnagain Arm.
Girdwood is the home of Alyeska ski resort and the gateway to the Kenai Peninsula, where you can experience world class skiing, fishing, hiking, glaciers and so much more, while still having the option of 4 star restaurants and deluxe accommodations.
The home is quietly set on 2 acres, tucked in among the spruce and hemlock trees, with California Creek running just behind. The property is located on the edge of the Chugach National Forest and overlooks Alyeska ski resort, with views of Alyeska and Max's mountain. Across the street is Alaska's famous Double Musky Restaurant, where the best meals in Alaska are enjoyed. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants, yet, just steps away from great trails for hiking or cross country skiing.
This comfortable suite offers 1,000 square feet of private accommodations, with 3 deluxe rooms, appointed with fine linens. Each room has it's own private bath and all amenities. The suite offer all the comforts and privacy of home, yet, affords you the ability to contact your hosts, just upstairs, for any questions, needs or suggestions.
