This is the perfect place to host a family reunion or multi-family vacation. There is plenty of room for everyone, with spaces to gather and places for privacy, as well.
This home boasts six bedrooms and four full bathrooms. It is two stories, with the main living areas upstairs, Tahoe-style. There is also an office with fast, wireless DSL internet service, and a computer and printer for your use. There is plenty of parking here, including space for a large boat.
The gourmet kitchen is a delight for the serious cook. Contained in the beautiful cherry cabinetry is every appliance and utensil one could desire to make dinner for a crowd, including a KitchenAid mixer, enormous griddle, and back issues of Bon Appetit magazine.
The setting of our home is beautiful and private, with a babbling creek running nearby. Several lots on the cul-de-sac are forest service owned, including the meadow next door. Through the trees is a vibrant blue peek of the lake.
We are located on the north-east corner of Lake Tahoe, about 6 miles into Nevada across the CA state line. Incline Village was built as a planned community, which means that the homes are newer, there is more space between them, and the amenities (ski, beach, golf, rec center) belong to the town, for the use of residents and guests. If you'd like to try your luck at the gaming tables, there are several casinos nearby, and a number of excellent restaurants.
In the summer, you can visit the three stunning private beaches in Incline Village. Incline Beach and Ski Beach (boat launch only) are about 1.5 miles from the house. Burnt Cedar Beach is probably another mile or two along world-famous Lakeshore Blvd. It is a favorite because of the pool right next to the lake, in addition to grassy areas with BBQ stands. There are very nice bathrooms, showers, and a snack bar at Burnt Cedar, also. There is a small guest fee for use.
For a change of pace, try Sand Harbor with a big group, which a beautiful public beach about 5 miles from the house around the lake to the east. They have very nice facilities, charge by the carload, and have a great boat launch, also. Sand Harbor is where the Shakespeare Festival is held--it is a delightful, high quality production in an outdoor setting.
Incline Village is also a winter wonderland. We are 5 minutes from Diamond Peak ski area, about 12 minutes from Mt. Rose, 25 minutes from Northstar, and 40 minutes to Alpine, Squaw, or Heavenly. After a chilly day out on the slopes, come home to relax in our 10-person hot tub.
Whatever the season, this home has everything you need to make your Lake Tahoe visit a memorable one!

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2000
Our family has really enjoyed this home over the last 11 years! Our kids love to come to Tahoe and bring their friends, since there is plenty of room for everybody. Our extended family also comes to visit regularly. We love to ski and to hike, and mom brings her road bike to ride around the lake a few times every year.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We love Incline Village for several reasons. The homes and lots are larger than anywhere else on the lake. The town was built from a master plan, so there is a more cohesive feel in Incline than other Lake Tahoe communities. We also like being a little farther removed from the traffic and crowds that populate the south shore.
The Unique Benefits of this House
In a town named Incline Village, there are lots of homes on steep hillsides. Our home actually has a flat yard with a meadow next door and a creek on the other side. The access is great even in winter, and guests can park on our quiet cul-de-sac (with some winter restrictions due to snow plows). We are about 1.5 miles from the beach and the Hyatt Hotel, and about 5 minutes drive from beautiful Sand Harbor.

This is a fabulous home to stay in, especially with a large group. 14 of us stayed here and we never felt crowded. We especially loved the large master bedroom, with its quiet retreat and spacious master bath with jacuzzi tub. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for our large crowd, with all of the kitchen appliances and utensils we needed. We all fit nicely around the long dining room tables to share our family meals. The house is very clean and well maintained. It's close to shopping and the lake. We will definitely be returning here for future family vacations!

Cannot say enough good things about this house! It is immaculate and beautifully decorated. We stayed here 2 nights and truly enjoyed the accommodations. Fully stocked kitchen that was fun to cook in. The description pretty much gives you a good feel for the house. The large family room is perfect for entertainment of sort. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the master bedroom were very luxurious. Janet, was very nice and answered all my questions prior to arrival. Thanks again for sharing this great property with us.

Everyone in my group has their own corner... it's the best cabin house we've rented so far. We had a clogged plumbing and the management company was very helpful and quick to fix the problem for us. Spacious kitchen and very clean. The cul de sac is a mini sledding park for our kids. Our kids loved the house and they are already asking about coming back this year. Our adults loved the house too. With the double doors and the kids' rooms downstairs, we're able to sleep very quietly and till 9 am.. it has never happened in other cabins, because our kids were usually awoke by 6 am :) Thanks for sharing your lovely house. We look forward to renting again.
Owner response:Thanks so much for your positive comments. Since we live 200 miles away from our vacation home, we maintain a relationship with a local management company for needs such as this. I am glad that they were so responsive. We look forward to having you back!

What a terrific home and what a terrific location! We stayed for the weekend and didn't want to leave! Accommodated our large, three family group very well. Kitchen was fully stocked and has a huge table with plenty of room for everyone. The enormous hot tub was a hit after skiing (or just about anytime!). We'd love to go back! Thank you for sharing your wonderful house!

What a wonderful house this was for our family reunion!! It was immaculately clean in every detail. We loved having so many bedrooms so each married couple could have a bathroom, bedroom and privacy. I loved that the kitchen was so large and there was every kitchen gadget that I could possible want including a Kitchen Aid mixer! The kids and grandkids were thrilled with the hot tub and the spaciousness of the house. And parking for a boat is a big plus as well as parking for multiple cars which is not easy to find in Incline. It was a convenient location and a very quiet and private cul de sac. We would love to rent again!

This house is the place to go with a big group of peole! we were 14 people coming to Tahoe for the week end and we would have stayed longer! The house is big, well equipped and fully furnished. The hot tub, the fussball are some of the good things to enjoy as well! The master bedroom is to die for! Plus, the close location from ski resorts (Mont Rose ) is just perfect. If you look for a big house that is the place to choose! And just one more thing, the inside of the house looks awesome!
