The Bear Den is the perfect romantic mountain getaway for couples. Nestled in the woods, you are secluded by 200 ft tall old growth fir and cedar trees. You are sure to enjoy the soothing sounds of nature all around you. It is a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday stress.
This comfortable A-frame cabin is charming and immaculate. The cabin has an open floor plan. The master suite has a queen size iron bed with a comfy pillow top mattress. The cottage style loft has two twin size beds and is a great reading room. The living room has a woodburning fireplace, comfortable sofas, and TV with DVD and expanded cable. The fully-equipped kitchen is sure to have all your needs and more.
The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a private door leading to the large deck surrounding the cabin. Although it feels you're away from it all you are close to shopping and many great restaurants.
Outside you have a private hot tub, to unwind and take in all the fresh mountain air & peaceful nature that surrounds you. Don't be suprised if the deer come by to greet you while you're soaking in the tub! In the summer months, a gas grill and patio furniture are available for enjoying a friendly barbecue. You can walk to the Salmon River that is right across the street or to the breathtaking golf course at The Resort.
Now that you have found a wonderful cabin to call your mountain home, get ready for all that Mt. Hood has to offer. Enjoy numerous outdoor activities including ski resorts, night skiing, cross country skiing, fishing, lakes, rivers, golf, hiking and biking trails that are all just minutes away.

Mt Hood is truly majestic, it's amzingly green year round and has the most beautiful rivers, streams, and waterfalls we've ever seen. We love the snow and sking in the winter, mushroom picking in the spring, fall is breathtaking and you can't beat the summers. It is our favorite home away from home.

I love staying at the Bear Den when I come to visit Mt. Hood. It is exactly what I think of when picturing a cabin in the woods. I love the A-frame aspect of the house. It is so warm and inviting. I enjoy the way the rain sounds as it is beating on the sky lights. I just want to grab a blanket and sit by the fire and enjoy just being on vacation.
