Marsh Haven rests in a heavily wooded property on Cap'n Sam's Creek. This incredible home nestled in the embrace of live oak and pine, dripping with Spanish moss features a private crabbing dock, three car garage, and a stunning creek, marsh and ocean view.
This spacious beach house sleeps 12 comfortably and offers room to spread out, enjoy the ocean and relax. We have two King beds, two Queen beds, two Twin beds and an additional pullout bed in the Master Bedroom. Upon entering the foyer, one's eye is drawn to the wall of windows in the living/dining room overlooking the creek, marsh and ocean.
The eat in kitchen seats 14, with a colorful motif and hand painted Charleston-Rainbow Row border. A comfortable loft area at the head of the stairs is a den, complete with its own TV/VCR and game area. Two bedrooms off the den possess their own sun deck with ocean view. The master suite includes a private porch, whirlpool tub, fireplace and king bed.
By boat this home is literally two minutes from the private end of Seabrook Island's gorgeous beach. If you would rather ride a bike or drive to the public boardwalk located off of Oyster Catcher Drive it is less than a mile and a half away. Consider renting kayaks to have on the dock. You could kayak with the dolphins or out to the ocean!

We came down before one of our friends wedding and absolutely loved the house! The crabbing was awesome, fishing was great and the drive to golf wasn't too shabby either, loved it so much, we are all loading up and coming back! Might make it a tradition, this is the best place by far!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you! There is so much to do on Seabrook Island that we always have a great time, too.

The house was very spacious and well equipped. The setting overlooking the marsh and ocean was beautifully tranquil. This is a great house to use as a base for exploring the creek and the Kiawah River. Be sure to rent kayaks-- there's always lots of dolphins nearby where the creek pours into the river and the ocean.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you! We also love to kayak and watch the dolphins.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We rented this house for a week each summer for several years and just loved it! When it came on the market, we could not resist.
We rent kayaks and go out each morning to see the dolphins and the marsh life. We fish, ride bicycles, and go to the beach, of course! We also venture into Charleston, when we can tear ourselves away. We love the view, watching both the marsh and the sea.
