Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Unspecified
I fell in love with the area when I was a boy hunting deer and elk in the mountains north of town. Although the area is developing it still remains a more laid back resort spot with great hunting and fishing and has great skiing.
The Unique Benefits at this Home
Deer and elk are seen in the hay meadow in front of the cabin almost daily. We can bike to town or for a more challenging ride we can go up Rabbit Ears pass from the cabin. We have the Emerald Mountain State Wildlife Area two miles from the cabin.

Nancy and I grew up in Colorado. We love backpacking, biking, and hiking. I like to spend most of my spare time hunting, fishing and getting the cabin ready for guest.
