Relax and enjoy over 1600 sq ft of charmingly Mexican space. Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a delightful small complex, our spacious townhome has a sophisticated Mexican feel throughout. Gorgeous Saltillo tile floors, high vaulted ceilings, and crisp white walls accented with dark wood doors contribute to its grand hacienda style. The warm Mexican sun washes through the generous windows and skylights.
Our unit is located in an design award winning complex featuring 4 buildings with only 29 suites. The buildings are all unique and are styled with an adobe feel. Gardens, fountains, pathways and palms enhance the grounds. Pink bouganvilla climbs the walls. Each entance is individual.
Our townhome has three blossom draped balconies on two levels for your outdoor living.
With a bird’s eye view of our palm tree you can enjoy your coffee, barbeque dinner, bird watch or simply soak in the sun. Perhaps you want to take in the sun while overlooking the view of the gardens and golf course from one of the front facing balconies. The balcony off the master bedroom allows for a wonderful morning coffee!
The two bedrooms, located on the lower level (2nd floor) are well separated offering plenty of privacy for couples and families. Each bedroom has a separate ensuite decorated with Mexican tile. The master bedroom has a king bed, fireplace and balcony. The second bedroom has two single beds that can also be made up as a king. Generous closets are located behind original dark “worm wood” doors.
A unique curved stairway leads to the upper level where the spacious living room, dinning room and kitchen are located. For convenience there is a third bathroom on this level.
The living room is large and airy with vaulted ceilings. The separate dining area features a table that seats 6 to 8 folks without crowding.
Our kitchen is well equipped for cooking and entertaining. It features a charming Mexican tile countertop and rustic cupboards. The large pantry holds all your supplies.
Our stereo and CD player is equipped with a cable to accommodate your IPod. The TV has satellite feed from Canada so you can keep up with news and sports.
Beautifully kept gardens surrounding the pool and buildings include palm trees, orange trees, pink bougainvillea vines and cactus plantings. Our pebble pool is separated into two sections allowing plenty of space for sunning or relaxing in the shade.
The sweeping main beach is a short 5 to 7 minute walk away. This is a wonderful beach for walking, sunning and spotting whales. It is so large it never feels crowded. Perhaps you want to have a massage on the beach of buy some silver from the vendors. Snorkeling and swimming are best at the local beaches such as Chilleno and Santa Maria. These beaches are a 15 minute drive, taxi or bus from the condo. The suite is equipped with beach towels and a few beach chairs and umbrellas for your use.
The location of our townhome is exceptional. As well as being near the main beach, the Mega store, where you can get anything you need, is a short 5 minute walk. Close to the main attractions, Villas Baja is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, giving a sense of quiet to the property. There are even several wonderful restaurants within walking distance.
San Jose is renowned for its wonderful restaurants. From simple Mexican fare to elaborate top end gourmet meals it’s all there. The charming Old Town San Jose is a great place for shopping and browsing. Old Town is about a 20 minute walk but a taxi usually costs only $5 or so.

Thanks Val and Dan, We had a great trip, your villa was more than we expected, The kids loved the pool close to all we needed. Got to go fishing for yellow tail landed three for the grill.Hope to stay again next year. In our two visits, we have enjoyed the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of this condo complex. This two bed condo is like a reverse townhouse, with bedrooms on the lower floor and living areas up. All rooms have ample windows, views and are airy and clean. One of the bedrooms is definitely more luxurious and comfortable than the other, having a superior bed and a private balcony. Both have complete "ensuites". The kitchen is complete, and you have a choice of having your meals at the big indoor table or outside on the patio. The living room is very large, with comfortable and and attractive furnishings, including original artwork. Located in the tourist area of San Jose, this well-managed complex is close to shopping and restaurants. The nearby beach is miles long, sandy, and great for scenic walks, although it is not suitable for swimming most of the time. The popular swimming and snorkeling beaches are a half hour away, and easy to get to by bus, taxi or rental car. The golf course next to the property welcomes visitors and is one of several in the Cabo corridor. Most people will enjoy exploring the quaint and friendly old town of San Jose, and many will enjoy checking out the famous night life in Cabo San Lucas. Lots of exciting tourist experiences are offered to visitors in the area, including snorkeling trips, sailing outings, and fishing excursions, although you may prefer to spend your days just lounging by the quiet swimming pool, which is the centerpiece of the gorgeous tropical garden. It doesn't take long until you feel like you're "at home" in this very pleasant place.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This lovely property is spacious, very clean and well maintained. It has a very Mexican feel to it, and is a relaxing and fun place to spend a holiday. It is walking distance to the beach, to the grocery store, to downtown for shopping and to hiking spots. There are several very good restuarants downtown that we enjoyed very much. The building is in a safe and secure area, and has nice garden ambiance on the gorunds and around the pool. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths provides lots of privacy for couples (or others) sharing the condo. The kitchen is convenient and great to work in, with adjoining pantry. It was interesting to have TV while on vacation and keep up wth Canadian news and events. The sound system was great for playing our tunes. I definetely recommend this condo for anyone seeking a similar experience.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Like so many who live in Canada's North we love to escape to warmer climates in the winter and nowhere is better than San Jose del Cabo! We are not able to spend as much time as we wish there so we are able to make it available to you.
Why the Owner Chose Villas Baja:
Our first holiday together was in Mexico and while we were falling in love, we fell in love with Mexico as well. San Jose del Cabo is the easy Mexico, lots of culture but plenty of gringo services that we enjoy. We love the water and the beaches and the restaurants and of course the people.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our condo feels like home. With over 1600 square feet and vaulted ceilings we never feel closed in. I especially like the warm tropical light that pours through all the windows and the skylights. We have our favorite balcony (one of three) for morning coffee with the birds and another balcony for evening drinks with friends. I love the gardens at Villas Baja, they are always beautiful and provide a wonderful setting for the pool.
