This spacious log home is on a sloping lot on a large quiet cove off the main channel of Norris Lake. It is a beautiful, quiet, wooded area in a remote setting. Enjoy the usual water sport activities which are associated with lake living and enjoy relaxing away from the busyness of everyday life. There are numerous marinas on the lake to provide you with all your water sport needs and supplies. Norris Lake is particularly known for great fishing and water-skiing. All types of activities are within about an hours drive, from mall shopping to golfing to events in downtown Knoxville.
This five bedroom home welcomes you to enjoy a stay in the rustic decor of a log home furnished with log furniture. On the main level is a fully equipped kitchen with a large table which seats 12 and 3 additional seats at the counter. There is a family room with a wood burning fireplace, a master bedroom with a queen bed and master bath, along with another half bath just off the kitchen. The upper level has a loft area, full bath, a bedroom with a queen bed and one with a full bed. The lower level has a large family room area with a ping pong table, game table and games. There is also a full bath, a bedroom with a queen and a twin size bed, and another bedroom with a twin and double size bunk bed along with an additional twin bed.
On the exterior of the home there is a large front porch or a large deck at the rear of the house on which to relax. There are stairs down to the lakefront and the large covered dock.
The lake water temperatures are amazingly warm in the summer and that warm water invites you to spend hours swimming off the dock. You can enjoy sitting on the dock during the day or evening and enjoy the wonderful view. The changing scenery is beautiful all year round. The house is especially well suited for extended families to vacation together.
